Here's a coffee, Bosoares! Consider that another way of me saying thank you to you. ☕ And I think I may have found my new favourite PWBA commentator! *Sydney Brummett* seriously needs to consider doing more of this for future broadcasts, she is super knowledgeable. I could listen to her for hours on end. Now _that_ is the kind of commentary I expect to hear, I can learn so much. Nice job, Sydney! 👍
Watching her go up the ladder & win was the mark of a true professional. She is one of the great veterans on tour. These women sacrifice so much to travel & compete. Please create more tournaments & higher prize money. Bowling is growing once again due to them along with the PBA tour thanks for the upload !!
San Diego city has 3 lanes left (mira mesa lanes, lanes on the SDSU campus and a non public one Leatherneck Lanes (the pwba bowled a tournament there) on the marine base near the airport). This is down from 7 or more during the 1980s and 1990s. The closed centers were Frontier (24-hour), Sunset, The Grove and Kearny Mesa Bowl.
It's a shame that the King of the Lanes: Empress Edition isn't happening this year because I would've liked to see Stefanie defend her Empress title. Congratulations on winning, Stefanie!
Can someone tell the camera director that most bowling fans would like to see the entirety of the approach and release; zooming in on the pins for impact is just unproductively chaotic.
It's insane how Stef hasn't aged a DAY. Saw her during a couple college bowling tournaments way back when I was a college bowler, 20 or so years ago. She was even MORE intense back then too lol, but still very approachable. And Shan STILL has such a jacked physique. Damn. Oh and I went out with a chick who looked almost EXACTLY like Liz lol
@@SirJoelsuf1 Michelle Feldman was the best when it came to the cranker style. Anyhow, in the Nashville Open Championship during qualifying last year, I talked to Breanna Clemmer just a little and she seemed nice. She was bowling but came off the lanes and into the walkway area back and forth a little. One of the girls I talked to, Kayla Crawford lost during qualifying the day before and she was very nice to talk to. She was hanging out. Kayla was a rookie at the time. Kayla and Breanna were probably friends when Breanna was talking to Kayla.
It's kind of unusual that nobody has tried coaching out the arm thing Clemmer does. It seems like it would be a huge distraction I mean you can actually see her fighting to keep her arm level through the swing and release
Her coaches made her do that to improve shoulder rotation and swing direction. In practice. But she liked it enough to make it permanent. I agree it doesn’t look good at all and not having the left hand help with the weight of the ball during the stance leads to excessive grip pressure.
@@bosoares either way she's good above average power for a woman. It's just makes me cringe because you can literally see her fighting to keep her arm where she wants it. Meaning that right in the middle of her swing she's not completely focused on bowling.
They’ve always claimed copyright. It was just the threats for doing something that is not legal because I don’t own the content. But lately Fox sports and PBA have been uploading much faster so it’s not bad. I canceled cable myself and now watch from their channel.
I know this is the women's tour and I know that women don't have the same rev rate as men so urethane may or may not work as well for them, but I'm sure the men on the regular tour probably would have attacked this pattern with urethane equipment . It just makes me wonder if the scoring pace may have been a bit higher if the women would have opted to use urethane later in the match instead of trying to move so far left and open up the lane so much. Either way, fun match to watch
The thing I like about bowling is anyone can win because there is a lot of luck involved. You throw one ball you get a strike through the exact same ball you get a 7:10 I love that s*** ! Not to mention ringing ten pens! Ugh!
Kinda sad seeing wrist braces if you’re a professional you shouldn’t be able to use a device to keep your wrist in position. In my opinion that’s cheating
I have a big crush on breanna clemmer because I think she is attractive and beautiful and gorgeous and the most prettiest beautiful woman I’m your biggest fan I’m from Myrtle Beach South Carolina we should hang out
I don't understand why the women need their own league. The physical discrepancy doesn't seem significant between the sexes. everyone can throw whatever size ball they want.
I would like Stefanie a LITTLE more if she had been square with me when I interviewed her in 2012 about the US Open debacle. She took the party line. And agreed with the carnival atmosphere. Better keep winning, Stef. You're lousy as an executive.
Could not agree more with them being super loud, it’s just really unnecessary if they’re being super loud after every shot. On the other thing, why does it even matter about their exercise habits?
@@TheExpressionx I think, and I could be wrong, but I think he means chowing down on food, not yelling. Exercise would do some of them good on their weight.
Not sure what you mean about jaw muscles unless you are referring to them showing emotion once they get a strike. Don't see anything wrong with it. You see it on leagues and tournaments also.
While I actually enjou watching women’s bowling (because they bowl more like us amateur bowlers of every stripe and gender), the commentary propounding that the women’s tour is somehow more noble and virtuous than the men’s tour makes it unwatchable. From whence cometh this obsession with constantly comparing them to the men instead of enjoy these talented bowlers as they are?
Must be nice to win a tournament with luck, miraculous carry, and all the breaks you can get. A full display of dumb luck. I've never seen more shaker and tickle strikes in my life. Enjoy your false win Johnson. Next time try to actually hit a Mark and drive the pocket i.e. actually bowl and not win on a queef and a prayer for the most ridiculous carry you've ever received. That is all...

I really appreciate Sydney's commentary. I'm not sure if I've heard a more informative analysis than her's. She's a pro.👍
She's certainly better than the 2 Dorian sisters!
Thanks for the upload buddy, you’re a hero to us poor bowling fans!

That stone 8 in the second frame for Liz was a killer ! Look out for her throughout the season. Best wishes Liz.

Mind-blowing performance from Steph
Thank you so much for sharing ❤️ 💕
Good for her, not easy climbing the lader, consistancy is her game, this time it paid off, congratulations Stefanie.
Congrats Stefanie! She is one of the greats. I see her as player of the year in the near future.. keep it up girl!!
I love Liz's "Queen Bee" bowling shirt! Sooooooooooo cool/cute!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THE PWBA
Nice little history of women's bowling in Rockford at beginning. Also pretty cool women's bowling tournament not too far from were I lived at!
Thanks so much for these up loads 😘 💕
What a match! Thanks Bo

Thank you for the upload. I missed taping the show on CBS Sports, thinking it was on auto (like college bowling).

Only one open frame by Johnson during her four match dash to the title. Impressive!
Great to see Kelly back in a TV match!
Right before you brought up the bow I looked at her bow and thought how sweet 😅
Thanks for uploading womens tour. Haven't seen it in a while..

Kulick is such a joy to watch bowl still.

Shout out to Cherry Valley. It used to be one of the nicer areas of Rockford.
FIVE OF THE WORLD'S BEST "female" BOWLERS. CHEERS
Nothing like climbing the ladder. Glad for her.
I'm waiting for Breanna Clemmer to win her first title. Just love how she releases the ball like one of the guys.

Ladies and gentlemen, the luckiest break ever 57:46
I wonder if they are going to ban those Robot wrist supports like they did for the PBA.
