Then his apprentice parried him in his sleep. Ironic. He could save others from death...but not himself.

u see ,I have a theory.I think that otz is dunkey before he got insane.u see I do believe that whenever we are switching from an otz vid to a dunkey one we are time travelling.I think the point that started the transformation is the 25 hours bb stream and then later on the sl1 chronicles continue this legacy.the point of the exact tranformation is yet to be seen.also this would explain the slight change of voice from a calm cool voice to another cool albeit stronger voice.idk tell me wut u think

Legit, that was one of the easiest things I did on SL1 I ended up no hitting it XD But as any dark souls player will tell you. We all went through a lot of suffering before we learned to beat these bosses. I can brag now about how easy Midir is but the suffering endured to reach that point. INDESCRIBABLE!

I went back to the past, I used the Ice Blade like I did when I would play earlier and I fought and fought and fought, then I won. No crowd there for me. But I did it. I finally beat Slave Knight Gael.
When you died to slave knight gael when he only had a sliver of health, all that was going through my head was "YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE, OTZ, YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO SLAY THE SLAVE KNIGHT, NOT SUCCUMB TO HIM!"

I was reading the stream comments at one point, and a lot of them mentioned that Otz couldn't equip any frostbite weapons. But with the Knight's Ring and Hunter's Ring he could equip the Irithyll Straight Sword, with the Hunter's Ring and Carthus Milkring he could equip the Irithyll Rapier, and with all three he could equip the Pontiff Knight Curved Sword. Alternately, the Scholar's Ring would give him enough Int to use Frozen Weapon. That said, I have no idea why the issue even came up. Well done, by the way!
I feel like the issue for a lot of these fights is that he’s just going into them so under leveled. You’d think he would’ve realized that before making it to the very end of the game 🤔
