You did a good job showing the value of another room added to your camping experience. You mentioned it in previous videos, but seeing and hearing the rain and your ability to function, enforces the value of the additional room. Other long term RV TH-camrs never showed the value of sprouts. Used to have a sprouter tube with rinsing caps on both ends. Now with Amazon, I shouldn't have to worry about finding the seeds to make more sprouts.

Have you ever had problems with water intrusion into the wall or roof construction of the Vistabule? I live in Tennessee where it rains often and am considering ordering a Vistabule camper. What wall and roof maintenance do you perform?
I perform zero maintenance other than lubing the hugs every year. I do inspect the trailer every year and hose it down. N leask *so far) I garage my trailer. I would advise you to join the Vistabule Teardrop trailer Enthusiasts group on Facebook so you can post this question there. About the only comment I can make is whatever is in direct sun gets hot! The noseeum netting cuts down on air flow. I have 3 huge windows plus 2 doors installed on mine to help with air flow. I am fit and lost weight and can tolerate heat very well. Hi Aubrey. When I purchased they seemed to be on a close out sale. Then the price shot up quite high. I am happy with them I also use a cheaper type outdoor carpet th-cam.com/video/mIP-rUbJPR4/w-d-xo.html and th-cam.com/video/ovKBKJBlcUY/w-d-xo.html. They all have held up well. But you have to watch out for items like a pointy chair leg. For my use and the way I care for them they are great. I use them for yoga mats and workout mats while camping too! I’ve been looking at these trailers but I can’t seem to understand the attraction. Why wouldn’t a person just get a large tent, cot, cook table and generator? That way you have space, power and can heat and cool as needed. These small trailers seem so claustrophobic. I’d appreciate your insight, I must be missing something because the tent etc would save many thousands in up front costs and many hundreds in yearly costs.
A trailer is not necessary to enjoy nature. I spent my entire life camping in tents and much less. I was seeking something more comfortable and luxurious. I did not want a large RV I wanted a mode of camping that would put me in nature not separate me from nature like a big box RV. Watching you in the comfort of a clamshell in the woods during a rain storm is very satisfying. I thought you had another larger clamshell although maybe it got repurposed to attach to your trailer. I think the light box scene got cutoff ... anyway another great video!

Could you make some kind of rain gutter on the tent ? That would be very nice, and you could still have it all open with view all around.
Thanks John! Whatever the solution it has to be compact light and portable. @@CosmoWeems Thank you for this. Fortunately, I did think to measure and the largest one (we actually got it from Cabelas) won’t go there, at least according to the tape measure. I haven’t actually put it in, but against the day we actually get kayaks, I bought a rooftop carrier and will put it up there!

U bumped int a rally at Assategue Island but they were just getting together as I was leaving. I am usually enjoying exploring the remotest places I can find. But I enjoy campgrounds too. I think I just enjoy the relative simplicity of the lifestyle. Thank You for subscribing. Regards =Cosmo

Hi Cosmo, I just bought the Propex Hs2000 and watched your video. I’m planning on running it off a standard 5 gallon propane bottle (like the ones for BBQs). What I don’t know is what regulator and fittings I need to go from the 5 gallon, down to the Propex. I could see in your video you had some fittings on your propane. Could you tell me what you used or possibly send me a video showing your connections from the propane down to the Propex?

Have you ever had problems with water intrusion into the wall or roof construction of the Vistabule? I live in Tennessee where it rains often and am considering ordering a Vistabule camper. What wall and roof maintenance do you perform?
I perform zero maintenance other than lubing the hugs every year. I do inspect the trailer every year and hose it down. N leask *so far) I garage my trailer. I would advise you to join the Vistabule Teardrop trailer Enthusiasts group on Facebook so you can post this question there. J have some concerns with heat buildups in the sun can you comment
About the only comment I can make is whatever is in direct sun gets hot! The noseeum netting cuts down on air flow. I have 3 huge windows plus 2 doors installed on mine to help with air flow. I am fit and lost weight and can tolerate heat very well. But you have to watch out for items like a pointy chair leg. For my use and the way I care for them they are great. I use them for yoga mats and workout mats while camping too! I’ve been looking at these trailers but I can’t seem to understand the attraction. Why wouldn’t a person just get a large tent, cot, cook table and generator? That way you have space, power and can heat and cool as needed. These small trailers seem so claustrophobic. I’d appreciate your insight, I must be missing something because the tent etc would save many thousands in up front costs and many hundreds in yearly costs.
A trailer is not necessary to enjoy nature. I spent my entire life camping in tents and much less. I was seeking something more comfortable and luxurious. I did not want a large RV I wanted a mode of camping that would put me in nature not separate me from nature like a big box RV.
