Yeah, I always wondered why you thought that Goku would die in the fight against the androids in the past. It's interesting to see that you changed your mind on this one and I agree with it for the most part. I never saw Goku sticking around to fight the androids, I always thought he would figure out that they're too strong and would fall back to train in the Time Chamber.
Absolutely especially if he arrived and found out that SSJ Vegeta was getting his ass kicked to the androids. He would grab Vegeta, hightail it out of there. Gather up the rest of the Z fighters and then prepare for the androids with the Hyperbolic time chamber.
@@thekingbradable Vegeta wasn't doing anything with any of the Z Fighters back during the Android saga. He was very much operating alone especially after becoming SSJ.
You don't know how long I have been waiting for this, I hated how they did future Goku. I like long what ifs better so I hope this will live up to the expectations!
Interesting what would happen with the later arcs. It is strange they didn't mention Moro, but I'm guessing that was just due to the negligence or the time of release. The bigger question: Would Goku really not fight? He stayed with Frieza even as Namek began to die out.
@@antman1001000 It's possible, though considering his track record I'd guess the Cell era of restraint was a change. That said, it could of course apply to the Androids as well.
@@antman1001000 Goku surrendered because he knew that Gohan was their only real chance of victory and that dying fighting Cell wouldn't have helped Gohan reach his true power.
Which is why Goku should have really taught everyone Instant Transmission. Hell, at some point during the breaks they could have all made a trip to Yardrat to complete the full suite Spirit Control teachings. Would have made the humans more than just fodder, at least.
Problem: in the canon future timeline it takes Babadi an extra 10 years to gather energy for Buu only because the androids killed so many humans. In your scenario Goku revives everyone killed by the androids. There’s no reason for it to still take babadi the extra time.
Yup also there were stronger powers That lured him to earth ( súper perfect cell and ssj2 Gohan ) in the future the strongest thing he could detect was future Gohan then a Few years later post cell saga future trunks
10:10 only reason Babidi took 10 years to collect energy in the original Future Timeline was because there were so few humans left after the Android Apocalypse. In this version of the events, he could collect energy much faster, just like in main timeline.
I believe in the future timeline Moro still got his powers back just before his death like in the original. But without Frieza's revival, the Frieza soldier that led him to namek wasn't in the galactic prison. Merus probably kept Moro from doing too much harm before his lifespan ended, or, without the false hope of fat buu, broke the angel rule to stop him like he did in the manga.
The situation for Babidi would also be far different though with a restored earth and all the warriors alive, so I doubt it would resemble the future time line in that regard.
@@ProbablyFolly Becuase Broly was 1 out of 2 of the only remaining pure sayians, he didnt go to Trunks becuase he was a half breed so the Super Sayian God would be more likely for a Pure sayian. i think Beerus would go to Earth
That was awesome! I love your storys so much. I'm wondering how would you write the story If Goku and Gohan went into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber First?
Well i have a few things to suggest. With beerus he probably didnt come to earth due to there being no full blood saiyans. With goku and vegeta alive that changes things. And for the buu arc im pretty sure the androids are the reason it took so long to gather that much energy and with them not being an issue that would probably speed things up a bit.
Akira toriyama should expand his db franchise much like dc and marvel and allow other people such as this guy to create different versions of the dragon ball story line, that’d be dope , love your content btw
Great "What if...", but I am still waiting for "What if Goku has never married Chichi". No Gohan, but stronger goku with more time for training from the beginning of the story.
@@boltskyline2957 the training of goku isn't the main change though think about it no gohan which means no future gohan to help trunks, no ssj2 gohan against cell if it would even be possible to get to that point as things might just remain the same so it would keep going back to the future timeline, nothing changing and our heros always losing but lets say trunks survives and changes the timeline well there is still the problem of no gohan to go ssj2 to kill cell but once again lets somehow say they beat cell we then have buu with no gohan and no goten the people if earth stand no chance anx earth is destroyed and buu goes on destroying the universe till beerus wakes up and kills him. Without goku marrying chi-chi it would set dragon ball down a very very dark path
If there's no Gohan Nappa and Vegeta kill everyone on earth, Goku dies against Vegeta, Vegeta goes to namek and gets killed my Ginyu force. Frieza gets the dragon balls. story ends.
I believe Goku's death is WHY the future androids were different. Dr Gero was obsessed with revenge against him. Goku living is the only change Trunks made Dr Gero would personally be aware of. If Goku lives he might consider 17 and 18 as his hail Mary. So he boosts their power while decreasing their aggressive tendencies in hopes that'll make them easier to control when he has no choice but to use them. He failed to consider that aggressive tendencies or not, their hatred for him is COMPLETELY justified and his fate remains the same.
If Vegeta sets aside his "i can take this fight" attitude he would most likely do the same thing as Goku here, he is shown to be on par with piccolo on fight IQ and just strategic overall just like in the namek arc.
I feel like Goku being alive is what caused the 19 and 20 to appear and why 17 and 18 were stronger. Gero would be someone who keeps tabs on Goku in regards to being alive so in the original timeline since Goku died Gero didnt need 17 and 18 to be really strong. With Goku dead, Gero seems to take his time with completing the androids and working on cell for only 17 and 18 to kill him and go on a rampage (he probably was also more loose on their programming which is why they act so different originally) but when Goku is alive, he seems to overcompensate with making 17 and 18 stronger and updating their programming which might also be why they need to be in their containment pods for longer, creating 16 and 19, and being confident that 19 and himself can do the job of killing Goku as he knows he also has 3 more androids in reserve in case he fails.
It’s possible 19 & 20 could’ve appeared in Trunks’ timeline. Assuming that 19 & 20 were killed by Vegeta and/or 17 on the same day that they appeared. Trunks was a baby, and Bulma likely wouldn’t have been there. This assumes that 17 & 18 then immediately wiped out everybody but Gohan. As for Gohan not knowing, or not telling Bulma & Trunks, I can’t explain that.
See my theory is that never changed. The past androids being stronger is iffy as we never see the two side by side only a much weaker trunks view of the future androids, then a much stronger trunks vs cell and the future androids. Anyway put that aside the point here is the extra androids. We only have a third hand account from Trunks heard from Gohan and his mother about events. Events we don't get a huge amount of detail on just that two androids appear near south city, everyone dies and then androids roam the world killing people. There's nothing in there to actually contradict Gero and 19 being the first androids to appear. Killing a few of the group before running into Vegeta/fused piccolo and activating 17/18 as per the past events. Gohan's still a child at this point and without Goku he'll have spent all his time studying under a mother who doesn't want him to fight, he's not going to get called to fight a threat that's already killed people at least not at first. All it takes is everyone who runs into Gero/20 dying and everyone except Gohan has died. Even with three years warning and extra training they only missed taking out Yamcha and Piccolo as the group was near enough to support each other. I can easily see them taking out everyone they run into except a supersaiyan Vegeta who then dies to 17/18 and with him the knowledge the two androids slaughtering everyone aren't the original two who appear.
I understand why they wouldn't utilize New Namek while 17 and 18 are still running rampant. But what I don't get is why Future Trunks and Bulma didn't use it even after Trunks dealt with 17, 18, and Cell. Future Bulma would know about New Namek. She wouldn't know where it is, but Kaio could just tell her. What, did Kaio just stop watching what was happening on Earth? Did Goku and the others stop too and neglect to remind Kaio to do something? If Trunks went to New Namek and wished to bring back everyone killed by 17 and 18, I think it would make a lot more sense how later in Super the Earth was actually resisting Black. Granted Black was just playing around being a sadist and trying to further understand his power, it still doesn't seem right that his only resistance would be Trunks, Yajirobe, and a bunch of normal Earthlings with guns.
@johngulster7787 Him and his friends retain their bodies after death. That's how Goku was able to train in the saiyan saga and how Piccolo and the others trained during the Namek saga. In the future timeline, Vegeta probably would've lost his body though. Plus, if they did wish everyone back but worded it so only the good people came back, I'm pretty sure Future Vegeta would've stayed dead. Which would be kind of dark. But they probably wouldn't word the wish that way. Unless they wanted to prevent Gero from coming back I guess.
Spirit control really makes or breaks battles with techniques like forced spirit fission and instant transmission. Spirit ki and magic really have their advantages but spirit seems to be the most versatile with the least techniques at this point
He’s still not strong enough for the Androids so there’s nothing he can do to save him. Piccolo and Gohan are important to save because his son has more potential than everyone combined and if Piccolo dies then Kami dies as well, making the Dragon Balls useless.
@@crimsonking4151 Future Vegeta still dies in canon by the Androids. And Future Gohan weakened himself by suppressing his emotions, trying to be his father rather than himself.
I kinda want to point out that Beerus is fixated on the super Saiyan god to the point of destroying the universe waiting for him so it is completely feasible that he would still come and find Goku and Vegeta
@@VashtheStampede007 that's because canonically the future trunks timeline actually takes place in universe 9 and beerus isn't the destroyer of that timeline or if you want to get even more technical it's a completely alternate multiverse since it has its own xeno so it's completely feasible that beerus isnt part of it or that zamasu messed with the timing of beerus but if i remember correctly the supreme kai you see is the supreme kai of universe 9 please correct me if im wrong
12:24 "Had [Goku] been there, not to fight but to retreat, then maybe, just maybe everything could've been so much better for everyone." I LOVE this stance. Goku has spent his entire life fighting and fighting, and things have gotten worse and worse (Though not as a result, just as coincidence), but the ONE TIME Goku would choose to retreat (in a timeline void of time travel shenanigans) is the ONE TIME that peace becomes a reality... Though you know that some sort of shenanigans would happen, and it just takes one spark to torch that peace (just a bit further into the future than in the OG timeline).
Babadi saga might still happen around the same time (and be very similar) - it took him 10 years due to their being fewer humans on earth to drain and obviously no SS2’s around. He wouldn’t have had that problem if no one died against the androids Makes you wonder actually why he wasn’t around to go after cell and trunks earlier
I think beerus would go to earth, it’s my head cannon that beerus is sleeping in the future timeline because the Oracle fish didn’t see a potential rival for beerus because Goku and vegeta die
Ooh I have a good idea: What if Earth was destroyed and everyone was killed (like everyone, Bulma, Chi Chi, Vegeta, Gohan etc), preferably this would be before beerus arrives but that would change the storyline too much. For example Beerus wakes up and has the prophecy about the super Saiyan god, but before he goes to earth he goes to other planets as well. The change we make here is that he goes to one extra planet he goes to is obviously Namek, once he arrives he sees that this planet was once a great one but now has idk fallen or something. So he destroys it. Let's say Whis knows that there are dragon balls on the planet but doesn't tell Beerus. Then Beerus goes to the Kai's planets and ends up in King Kai's world where he gives Goku a harder or bigger beatdown than the one he gave in the original story so Goku is almost on the verge of death ( I know this seems a bit exaggerated but I think this would make for an interesting story) then Beerus goes to earth and the usual happens, Vegeta fights Beerus loses and then Beerus destroys earth.
What if suggestions: 1. What if Katas (the father of the nameless namekian) went to earth alongside his son? 2. What if King Cold was revived instead of Frieza? 3. What if Tao appeared in the androids saga as part of Gero's army and got upgraded? 4. What if Towa, Mira and Fu appeared in the Buu saga and were under Babidi's command alongside Dabura? 5. What if Cui, Zarbon and Dodoria turned good? 6. What if Tarble and Turles appeared in the saiyan saga? 7. What if Kami had spawned children of his own in order to stop the first King Piccolo wars? 8. What if Piano, Tambourine, Drum and Cymbal turned good? 9. What if Zeno hung around with mortals for a couple 1000 years prior to the original series? 10. What if Roshi and Shen never became mortal enemies?

Absolutely especially if he arrived and found out that SSJ Vegeta was getting his ass kicked to the androids. He would grab Vegeta, hightail it out of there. Gather up the rest of the Z fighters and then prepare for the androids with the Hyperbolic time chamber.
He and trunks were the same.
@@blueblur2273 They probably would have gone to the battle together. I think it’s very possible that they both would have lost.
That's because he knew he'd win. Meanwhile Goku isn't going to fight a battle he knows he can't win as shown when he surrendered against Cell.
"And they all lived happily ever after."
[Beginning of next episode: Earth explodes.]
Which is why Goku should have really taught everyone Instant Transmission. Hell, at some point during the breaks they could have all made a trip to Yardrat to complete the full suite Spirit Control teachings. Would have made the humans more than just fodder, at least.
He should have taught them the Kaioken as well. Imagine if everyone could teleport and double or more their strength in a fight.
Let’s goooo the Goat is back 🔥🔥🔥
Problem: in the canon future timeline it takes Babadi an extra 10 years to gather energy for Buu only because the androids killed so many humans.
Yep thats how you know he just rushed the video
Lets just assume the lack of ssj2 Gohan / súper perfect cell tier dangers
Makes Babidi still not be interesed
I’m going to watch this as soon as it’s out.
10:10 only reason Babidi took 10 years to collect energy in the original Future Timeline was because there were so few humans left after the Android Apocalypse. In this version of the events, he could collect energy much faster, just like in main timeline.
Even with all the people who would still take a long time because the average human power level is 5
@@Unknown-d3uThe Average is Lower than 2, The farmer had 5 Power Level Cause hes a farmer and is averagely strong
Finally future trunks time line won't be shit hopefully
Goku black could still happen

why wouldn’t they meet beerus and whis?? wasn’t it told that beerus was going to meet or at least look for the super saiyan god years before?
Beerus either went to Vampa or decided to sleep longer.
@@ProbablyFolly Becuase Broly was 1 out of 2 of the only remaining pure sayians, he didnt go to Trunks becuase he was a half breed so the Super Sayian God would be more likely for a Pure sayian. i think Beerus would go to Earth
When I first saw the Android saga, I was really hoping to see Goku take on either 16, 17, or 18. But, Cell showed and kind of made that impossible.
4:37 Piccolo the whole time: DOOOOOOOOOODGE
0:41 That's a gamecube and wavebird. Nice.
Great "What if...", but I am still waiting for "What if Goku has never married Chichi".
No Gohan, but stronger goku with more time for training from the beginning of the story.
This is actually an insane one. Would piccolo stay evil or end up a friend later on?? Carthage needs to do this one 😂
Dude, goku is home like one day a month. His training will be the same
@@boltskyline2957 the training of goku isn't the main change though think about it no gohan which means no future gohan to help trunks, no ssj2 gohan against cell if it would even be possible to get to that point as things might just remain the same so it would keep going back to the future timeline, nothing changing and our heros always losing but lets say trunks survives and changes the timeline well there is still the problem of no gohan to go ssj2 to kill cell but once again lets somehow say they beat cell we then have buu with no gohan and no goten the people if earth stand no chance anx earth is destroyed and buu goes on destroying the universe till beerus wakes up and kills him.
I thought the train they did made the augments to there strength goku strong androids ment to be above him get stronger goku weaker androids weaker
@@jamesr6959 I would imagine Gohan would have known if 19 and 20 existed
It seems like once Goku was gone, King Kai just never interacted with the Earth again.
Goku doesn't have a body to interact with king kai.

He’s still not strong enough for the Androids so there’s nothing he can do to save him. Piccolo and Gohan are important to save because his son has more potential than everyone combined and if Piccolo dies then Kami dies as well, making the Dragon Balls useless.

12:24 "Had [Goku] been there, not to fight but to retreat, then maybe, just maybe everything could've been so much better for everyone."
I LOVE this stance.
He wouldn’t have had that problem if no one died against the androids

I like the take of having someone else to be giving the spotlight other than the goku, gohan or trunks.
I would imagine that in this scenario the events of GT would mostly play out except Uub isn't there
