Hey Dan quick question, I’ve been looking around for the exact Yamaha PFD you’re running in this video. I like and use the canvas style fabric built style. Pretty sure the only ones in stores are the polyester models. Where did you purchase yours? Thanks mate.
Thank you mate. I’ve just gone looking and found em online. Been doing a fair bit of night fishing recently so having an auto inflate is probably a better option for me and my mates. I appreciate you getting back to me to help Dan. 👍
Fantastic stuff Dan! It couldn't get any better surely! Really love those screen recordings, would love to see more of that.Do you think any form of lightning on the deck ect puts them off at night?
Thank you. It’s been a great season up there, water conditions are great and the big cod have taken advantage of the masses of food available. I have hours and hours of recordings, I guess I could put some edits together with some of it. Any light is unnatural especially on a dark night and so I try my best to keep light off the water as much as possible.
@DanWebberFishing yes conditions must be optimal for those sort of results!More livescope footage would be great.Navigation lights would be pretty unatural also,Can't remember what you have to have on when stationary.Maybe an infared camera could be the go to get that nightime footage.Keep up the good work.
Hey dan i hear ya ad far as clearing all the head noise, just a question i dont have the livescope or active target as i cant afford it, evan at night is your retrieve super slow or do you speed it up a bit, as i said i dont have the tec so i am fishing blind and are plastics only good if you are using livescope, thanks col
Hey Col, thanks for your message, it can get very noisy at times. Definitely keep it slow at night and plastics are definitely still a top option without the use of live tech. These fish are incredibly in tune to bait movements when they are feeding and can feel the paddle tail and body roll of the big plastics from many metres away well before they see them.
Awesome to see the bite on the live tech! The juck is such a good spot to get out and fish!cheers for the vid!
Thanks Andrew, it’s amazing tech. I almost forget to cast sometimes as I get so caught up in watching them do their thing.
Nothing quite silences the noise like some cod fishing, well done, Dan!
Exactly mate, thank you 🎣
Great to watch Dan! Incredible fishing
Thank you mate, really appreciate the feedback. 👍🎣

@@mylurebox I got them from Riverina Marine Centre in Wagga. I’m sure they’d be able to get you sorted.

@@mylurebox too easy mate, I fish at night on my own a bit so it’s a bit of extra piece of mind, especially for my wife.
Awesome as always mate, well done, great fishing
Thank you very much, it was a great trip. Hopefully I can get in a bit more before the end of the season.
Hi Dan, gr8 to see u on the water, as well as gr8 fishing. Cheers
Thanks Colin, it was great to get out there and clear the mind and get into some great fish 🎣 👍
Awesome mate thanks so much for sharing 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Good vid Dan, I still can't get enough of watching there reaction to baits on the active captain 😊
Thanks Ray, it’s incredible isn’t it. How’s that last fish stalking up on those Redfin.

Nice fish mate 👍🏼
Thanks 👍
The light on attracts the fish so you get more fish so does campfires😀
Interesting theory, I run the least amount of light as possible.
great as always mate i do the same thing just go fishing
That’s the go Glen, thanks mate.

Good to see you back Dan. Always enjoy your content and take on things 👍🏻
Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍🎣
Just wondering what rod you using ?
Hey Jason, the white one is a 7 foot Abu Veritas 6-10 kg medium/heavy
Still not down with technology !! Nice fish though 👍
Cheers mate, that’s all good to each his own as long as you can get out and enjoy it, that’s all that matters 👍
Aiming for a meter😊
Keep trying, you’ll get one.
My biggest cod is 90cm
Good stuff
