  • Whats Up Everybody, Welcome Back!
    - Before we start I must apologies to those that saw this video this morning, I had to remove it as it stopped half way through at the 2min 19sec mark, seems it did not download completely.
    Today we take a deep look into LEATT’s all new 2023 Enduro Helmet with removable chin bar, if you are tired of trying to decide what helmet to take on shuttle days or to a new trail network then this helmet is the answer.
    Even if you arent interested in using this as a Full Face or a half lid it really doesn’t matter as it is ideal for all day rides regardless of the setup you chose.
    For me personally 90% of my riding is with a half lid and the 2.0 Enduro has more than delivered in all aspects, the seriously light weight and above standard ventilation channels makes for possibly the most versatile and comfortable helmet to hit the market.
    From the genuine Fidlock Magnetic buckle closure to the completely adjustable comfort dial the 2.0 Enduro offers more safety and features than most expect.

    Being an enduro demon I love how the the chin bar is detachable and the magnets, and for someone like me who wears glasses the integrated docks is perfect 👍

      Yep this covers it all and at a price that should make others rethink their SRP.

    Great video Craig, this helmet looks awesome and it's cool that you can use it as a full face and also as a half shell helmet. Great presentation and nice shots of the jumps. Awesome to see a new video from you even though you are not too far away from me🤩. Ride on and enjoy the holidays brother🤙

    I just had an important crash with this helmet, the first impact was on the chin bar, the helmet received the impact very good, unfortunately it turned a little and I opened my chin a little bit, but without the helmet I would have lost all my teeth.To give you an idea of the impact, I did two more laps on stones, got 2 stitches in the chin and 6 in the arm. Considering that the first impact was on the chin bar of the helmet, I think it did its job very well. if it had been completely tight I might not have opened the meton

      Hey my dude thank you for sharing your experience with me, a crash is never good especially when the head is involved so I’m grateful to hear that you walked away and your helmet “Regardless of brand” did what it’s supposed to do.

    Got one and tested it last weekend. The helmet is hot, even without the chin bar. Is nice to be able to remove the chin bar when you are climbing or just pedalling. Now, coming to the done hill or free ride part;is good to know that you can ad the protection. The chin bar does not seems to be as hard as a downhill helmet one; but at least will be there to avoid you loosing most of your teeth. The interchangeable pads is nice, but they are not big enough to avoid the sharp plastic on the chin bar scraping your ears when taking the helmet off. I’ll use it until is time to replace it, but not 100% pleased with the helmet. May end using my TLD A3 most off the time and the Leatt will go to bike parks( I don’t ride to hard ) and cold months .

      Understandable as not every head suits every helmet, it certainly works well for me and is the most comfortable lid I’ve worn. The flex in the chinbar is in fact a bonus as it reduces neck impact forces by cushioning the hit and can flex almost over on itself which avoids it cracking or giving way..

      @@FlowmentumMTBi ride in north queensland and i find that the helmet does a great job at keeping the head cool and provides good security, but i do feel him with the scraping ears, it hurts to take off, but it's not that big of a deal as it's only with taking the helmet off.

    Thanks for the great video, I bought the helmet and love it. I had to watch the video again because I thought the chin protector was supposed to be pulled down and forward in relation to the way a person is standing upright looking forward. Instead, it is pulled out away from the side of the helmet. The manual was misleading, but the video is very helpful, and now it's easy.

    THank you for your video, What would be the difference between the Enduro 2.0 and the 4.0?

    • @FlowmentumMTB
      @FlowmentumMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +11

      My pleasure Ezequiel, the reason I chose to buy “And Review” the 2.0 is purely due to how much helmet and features you get which also means the jumps in features are small when upping to the 3.0 and 4.0.
      The 4.0 is a slightly sturdier shell and build, this means it is just a little heavier, it has just 18 vents but they are a little larger then the 20 on the 2.0.
      Also being a sturdier build and the fastlock lever system for the chinbar means that the 4.0 passes DH Certifications meaning you can use it in sanctioned DH races, not too many brands have a detachable chinbar helmet that you can legally use in DH..
      Other than these few small differences there is not too much else, again making the 2.0 a very very affordable and attractive all round helmet.. Hope that helps mate, ride hard and ride safe 👊

      @@FlowmentumMTB oh yeah i was using a stealth mx helmet made to be oaired with anjeckbrace i didnt have so i felt like a bobble head. The 2.0 is literally not even a wuarter of the weight of that old helmet and if i wanna do a trail ride instead of downhil trails i can just pop that chinguard off and its pretty great.

    Thanks for the video buddy. Can you tell us something about the fit. Is it for round headed folk or is it a bit ovalish?

    • @FlowmentumMTB
      @FlowmentumMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Happy to, also my apologies for the delay in reply.
      MANY/MOST helmets I’ve owned always seem to be tight”ish” front to back with a bit of play on the sides.
      The reason I love this helmet is that it’s got a great fit front to rear still while holding a nice side fit.
      It’s very similar to the Fox and POC helmets in that’s it sways slightly towards the oval shape more so than a rounder fit.

    Hi! I found out neither this or the enduro 3.0 helmet is ASTM DH certified. Should I avoid buying this helmets because of this?

    • @FlowmentumMTB
      @FlowmentumMTB  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi yes that is correct, the only reason I’d say NO DONT BUY IT is if your planning on racing DH.
      Outside of this if your concerns are purely from a safety aspect then you must realize that these helmets have gone through very very strict impact testing and passed and exceeded all tests and expectations.
      The only reason they don’t pass DH certification is being a 2pce, only 1pc shells can pass this standard.
      I don’t really understand this as both 2pc and 1pc helmets both have to go through “And Pass” the exact same testing operations.
