Thanks for the content Jake. I just watched one of your videos and I am hooked. Subscriber for sure, appreciate anyone willing to endure cold rainy weather to go after big ones and take us along as well.
Awesome video! It's fun to see how much of a difference a 5 pounder means to someone in different states. A 5 pounder here in PA is a really nice fish, a 6 and 7 we usually consider a giant!
I watch all your videos and get so hyped to get out and fish. Caught two 8s yesterday. Cant wait to see your winter time bass videos with a rigs glides and jerk baits. LFG!!!
I love how you show this footage for the people not knowing what it looks like to watch it all happen!! First video I have found!!! I definitely subscribed, you the real mvp 🙏🏻💪🏻
Awesome video! My problem with livescope is distance. When it shows something 20 feet away, I feel like it’s only 10 feet away. I can never see my bait on the screen unless I’m using an a rig. It takes so much work to learn this😂
The big issue a lot of people have is there settings. Make sure your depth offset is pretty accurate then start playing with gain, color gain, and tvg. I plan to make a video at some point with my settings
Your jerkbait setup is different, why braid to leader? I've done it, but lost way to many. Switched back to straight floru. awesome content, great footage. Keep doing you
It was something I was testing that winter because of the size fish I was catching around standing timber. Used it for one winter and didn’t find much benefit so I went back to floro. I think it has a place for low end gear that can tend to be more parabolic but other than that it didn’t help much. Im always testing to see if I can make my set ups better but that was a dud unfortunately. I’m glad you noticed good catch.
Are you running this in perspective mode in this video? Also do you have it mounted to the trolling motor or using a side mount with an electric motor on it?
Great video! I’m wondering can you tell me what your setting are on. I know there is a lot of em but my screen does not seem as clear as yours and when my screen is clear I can’t hardly see anything. Curious what gain, how many feet out do you keep it at? Color gain, TVG, ghost tree, etc...
I’ve learned every graph looks a bit different. Had multiple units and non are identical. Transducers have problems which makes each look tweaked a bit different
What type of areas to you target for open water bass? Are you sticking to the creek channel or are you scanning flats? Does this change depending on season?
Everything is season but it really depends on the body of water. Sometimes flats, timber, channel swings, points, ditches. It really can be random. Just have to spend time looking and often it’s on the same places you would normally catch fish offshore.
I wish I had a better answer for you but unfortunately I still fish out of my dads boat. Looking for my own 18-20 ft aluminum rig but for now dads boat does the job.
@@JakeKeenom Thats cool. At least you got access to one. I’m looking for a new kayak I can stand up in to hit some of these lakes around Guthrie and Stillwater.
@@anonymous_friend I know man I’m very blessed. You might be able to find a deal on a decked out Jon boat for about the same price if you can tow it and have somewhere to store it! Just a thought
@@JakeKeenom Once I build a shop and buy a truck I will look for a 20 ft bass boat. Only need a few hundred grand first! 😉 After watching your videos I just ordered that dobyns sierra 6’8” medium and a shimano calcutta dc.
I won’t but to be fair I don’t think the lake is that special for the area it’s in from what I’ve seen after hitting a lot of the lakes in that region. They all got bigs.
Nice job young man. I was looking for some tips on how to use my LS and when I saw you were young I knew I found the right video teacher 🙂 Thanks

I have to say I probably view a five pounder different than 99% of others in Oklahoma😂 not as common as you might think

Thank you!
I live in Lawton Oklahoma. Been on the struggle bus this year.

I’m going to try to incorporate it more! It’s just really hard to edit in.
Great video love learning how to work those baits and using livescope. I just got livescope so looking forward to getting good with it
It takes some time but it’s a great tool
Nice video man. Good ole Oklahoma fishing.
Great vid. I like how you walk through what's happening and filming the livescope. Not many people doing that. Earned a new sub. 👍
Thanks! There will be more to come. Just wait until summer. Big stuff coming
Oh wow. I’m from Oklahoma brother. What lake are you at if you don’t mind sharing. Let’s go fishin

Nice video man! Love the insight.
Thanks!
You are spot locked but your livescope is steady. How do you have livescope mounted??
Great video mate
Love your videos man!
Thanks!
Hey man great stuff. Hopefully we can do some more competing this summer in the Wednesday night tourneys.
Unfortunately I work swing shift now so most likely I won’t make them

Thanks! I appreciate you watching

I am running it in forward mode. Al mount it directly on the shaft of the trolling motor
Good video, if you would do all the fish on the active captain this videos would blow up bud. Nice job though
I try but the app is problematic. Videos are glitchy most of the time. But it’s a work in progress.
Awesome video man
Nice video. What dobyns are you using with the jerkbait . Sa683c?
I believe so. I’m actually not using it as much these days. I’ll have a video about it soon
Do you use a 10 inch screen or a 12 inch screen for your Garmin?
12 inch
Awesome video
Thanks!

Ghost tree off, Tvg off, gain 65-75, color gain like 70-80,

Good video... How are you connecting your phone to LS
Active captain app
Wish I could afford livescope lol it looks so awesome
Save up. It’s worth it
Nice instructional video. What video editing software do you use to combine the regular video with the livescope video?
Movavi. But pretty much any editing system will let it happen. Just have to have the active captain app
Do you tie an FG knot for your braid to leader?
Honestly I don’t know the name of the knot
How do you get Garmin helm to record? It tells me it’s not available
Recording is only available on certain units
@@JakeKeenom ok. I have the 106SV but it doesn’t even give me the option to have it in the Garmin app
What are you throwing the rig on?
Dobyns champion 735 20lb seaguar invisx
How much does water clarity effect the livescope?
I haven’t noticed any change at all
@@JakeKeenom good deal, thanks
Which model Garmin is that?
1222
Looks like Sharon Harris
What head unit is this?
Garmin 1222
Man I'm curious how a young guy can afford a nice bass boat rigged with pricey electronics? Are you sponsored? Great catches!

. I agree on that. lots of great lakes in that part of the state. Me and some of my buddies have had some amazing days on that lake.
God I hate this technology....
Why did you click on the video😂 it is literally the title of the video😂😂😂
