I feel like I've said this on a thousand channels, Queen Mori inhabits a song like no other. Her storytelling is breathtaking. I believe her cover of "Defying Gravity" is the best story she has ever told.

Nina, Disney asked and got Morissette and Darren to record the Philippines edition soundtrack for the new Aladdin movie. Did you notice that Darren was wearing a Genie lamp necklace? 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

In an interview Darren said that Disney ask them to sing it the way they did in this video, they were both asked to do the ads for Aladdin in the Philippines , must watch the original sound track for the Philippine and yes someone commented that it was Lea SALONGA who recommended Morissette to Alan Menkin ; the song writer, Lea also sang in the original movie and also the singing voice of Reflection in the movie Mulan.
Darren's voice has matured in a short and quick span of time, he may not hit the high notes he used to do before but his matured voice is just so perfect and smooth and comforting to the ears perfect for a Disney prince.
I can‘t believe you have not yet seen this! This is a classic! Have you done Mori and Daryl Ong in their Duett of „You are the reason“?

Darren is a Filipino but he grew up in Canada. He joined the voice kids way back and there he told the coaches that he's from CANADA. That's why his accent is very good.

I agree with you, Nina. Darren enunciates very well even when he's reaching high notes. Two of Philippines' pride, the best I should say: Lea Salonga and Charice Pempengco enunciate and pronounce very well every word of their song so it's a very rare, joyful experience to listen to them not just for their strong stage presence but also because of their very pleasant voice. among the male Filipino singers, I prefer Martin Nievera and Darren Espanto.

Darren Espanto has a low starting point for his voice. So breathing is easy. that's normal
Morissette Amon is breathing a lot of air, and the starting point of her voice is high, so it is difficult to breathe while saying "huh" in every phrase. That vocalization is wrong. She must learn the basics of vocalization.
