We are actually big fans! Obviously it does differentiate in some ways from the old ones but it gives a great sound and its very similar. Thumbs up from us!
Which would you suggest? With so many cool choices in this Vintera line I'm looking for a 'do everything' guitar. My band covers about 25% classic rock (think Petty to Santana ... nothing too heavy) and the rest is an eclectic makeup of cleaner tones incl pop, Motown, country & Reggae. Is there one in this line you would you recommend? UPDATE 4-30-21: my new 70s Deluxe (sunburst) is probably THE BEST guitar I have ever owned. Fit like a glove right out of the box. Love the thinner neck. Pickups are great and deliver from Les Paulish to ... well Tele tones and everything in between. First gig with it two weeks ago and it delivers the goods big time. Highly recommended!
Hmmm. There are quite a few things to consider there. I would recommend you shoot this over to one of the sales people on our website! They usually answer within a few minutes (: !
I’ve been playing acoustic guitar only for a good twelve years now but these vintera teles really have some magic to them. The 50’s model especially. I suppose the fat neck would feel more familiar when going from acoustic to electric? What do you think? Awesome playing as always, by the way.
How do you reckon the Vinteras compare to the lower-priced (e.g. Performer) US guitars? Am torn between the Vintera Custom (HS) with the equivalent Performer Tele Hum.
Best value guitars Fender have ever made. I sold my US standard strat because the old Classic 70's was just a better instrument. High hopes for these new models!
Fave is the Custom in Daphne blue (tho Fiesta red was even cooler!) - however...the bigsby 60's one surprised me and just sounded soooo much better!! Dunno why..?? From the bridge of both, too....🤔
I know this is late and all, but hoping anyone who sees this can help. I have pretty small hands, and was wondering if anyone knows what model would be best suited for this, or possibly an alternative.
Great demo! One of the few that shows that a telecaster can do a lot more than the same old butchered chicken picking runs and the clichéd blues rock licks!
Does Cooper come with anything??? 😂❤️ WOW they all sound great. But maybe just a tad less reverb for the demo. I’m irritated because I recently bought an ‘old stock’ 70’s reissue. Would have preferred this Vintera... Fender launches models more frequently than Apple launches new iPhones... 😡
I have the Dual humbucker version. It handles dirt very well. There's a good amount of dynamic range, when you pull back on your attack, it cleans up, give it an aggressive attack and you can make it scream. 🎸🎶🔥
@@lueyteledeluxe7457 They weigh about 5 1/2 l s. All nitrocellulose finish, iggest neck outside of the custom shop, and tweaked Custom Shop 64 pickups. It’s a great guitar.
The road worn is nitro for the same price as a vintera . nitro kills poly on fender all day. Something about it breaths better. Ive tested my roadworn against American original now. The roadworn beats it and is almost half the price.
There are literally dozens of other TH-cam videos that demonstrate these guitars' adequacy for generic, hackneyed blues & rock. Embrace the variety of someone who can do something different with them.
Great playing, but not many people play with their fingers like that. Please play with a flat pick and kill the reverb. It would give a much better demo. I compare it to test driving a new car to check for rattles, but having the radio up too loud to hear them.
Ultra mediocre demo. Just play the guitars in various styles & genres with various PUP positions and tones . WIth & with OUT reverb . please thank you Need the basic SOUND demos to choose well. Very Nice instruments.
The 50s tele is just magic. Wild how Leo got it 100% right the 1st time.
Jake T Leo was the man alright, I got the 50,s in blue and its just awesome.
Saw this two times. The first for the review, then for the guitar lesson.
Almost can't make a mistake buying a MIIM! Very cool models. I didn't like the Vinteras at first but they have grown on me since being introduced.
They all sounded great but I think the 70's Mocha Deluxe is the best looking. It's one of the nicest looking guitars I've seen!
We are obsessed with it to!
@@AlamoMusic What do you think of the Vintera's version of the Wide Range pickups? Opinions have been pretty mixed on those.
We are actually big fans! Obviously it does differentiate in some ways from the old ones but it gives a great sound and its very similar. Thumbs up from us!
It's the crappiest - flat board and tall frets....stupid to call it vintage.
For sure , the best Demo video on this new Line. Thanks and bravo !

Nice playing-beautiful tone
Sick licks dude!
Thanks!
Bravo !
Not the same style of playing that we always ear on tons of reviews
These sound great. Love to see and hear the difference between Vintera and my Baja Tele!!
I own a Baja Tele and when the new modified 50's Tele arrives we will be doing a comparison. - Chris
I think Cooper could make a cigar box sound great.
THINLINE◇¿.《☆》The bridge pup is awesome & the neck pup is smooth as silk😎🎱☮🔊🖖👍
50 sll the way but it the fingers on any guitars makes it ❤

the quality of my 50's vintera tele is easily as good as my Highway 1 strat
I love the Custom!!!

I’m a Tele fan for sure, but what is the amp you are using?
A guitar amp.
It is a limited edition Fender Western Princeton. www.alamomusic.com/fender-fsr-limited-edition-65-princeton-reverb-western-c12q-120v/
Alamo Music Center Okay, Thanks! Amps are my gear obsession.
Tele-ma-caster?? 0:22
I'm new in the tele game, is this something different than a telecaster? Not trying to be mean if he slipped up in his words.
The joke went over your head
They’re is something about a tele with bigsby 🤗 just make sure you have a premium tuner 😂
Great demo! One of the few that shows that a telecaster can do a lot more than the same old butchered chicken picking runs and the clichéd blues rock licks!
Can’t see the switching on them if the watermark covers the guitar
the 50s tele is my fav one fo sho
where is the 50s mod

Has anyone tried to play metal on the dual humbucker tele? I really want one of these but I'm not sure if I could use it with my band.

wow
🔥🔥🔥🔥
I vote for the Squire. 😁
What's a Squire?
50’s
50's
What's that weird effect he's using the whole time?
It’s called his fingers
No, I figured it out. It's called "clean channel".
F those guitars I need that princeton reverb!
Timo de Lange Amen to that ! Don’t we all.
Excellent playing.
Not a quack fan..most versatile guitar and that's all people play on a tele.
Play it yourself, record it and shut up
Like Keith Richards? Very quacky 😅
I’ll stick with my Brad Paisley sig. nitrocellulose paint, custom fat neck, custom pickups and custom body. Five and a half pounds. 😍
powbobs I have one of those also. It’s my favorite guitar that I’ve ever owned.
Sat in my local shop untouched for years. Survive several big sales... Can't say it ever drew my eye...but..I don't know anything about it, so..🤷♂️

Breathes???? WTH? Don't drink the Kool-Aid, kid.
Your website is dead as a door nail !
I'm not sure if this style of playing demonstrates the Telecaster well enough.
There are literally dozens of other TH-cam videos that demonstrate these guitars' adequacy for generic, hackneyed blues & rock. Embrace the variety of someone who can do something different with them.
I can bet he demonstrates it much better than YOU

Good playing but bad demo. These are rock and roll guitars. Wish you would have played some instead of all finger picking.
Oh, you mean, like what is done in every other video?
Nah, i needed to hear cleans and Fingerstyle. Hes the only guy who did that
