This song was written in 1938 before the Nazis took Warsaw. It refers to a program conducted by Poles.
This is correct. The description is wrong.
I don’t know if you meant pogram and it was just autocorrect but there was no program but a violent riot against Jews conducted by endecja which was a radical party banned by the polish government and with the polish government trying to prevent the pogram itself
why are you purposefully spreading misinformation.
This song refers to incident in Przytyk town in 1936 where Polish mob attacked Jewish district after Jewish zionist killed Polish peasant.
This town before had tencions between local Polish nationalists (who were also enemies of pro-Jewish Polish government) and Jewish diaspora. Still, Poland those days was country friendly to Jewish people, Jewish politicians were in senate and parliament, Jews serve in military and Polish state even sympatize with zionists, train them how to fight and use weapons, only nationalists was tried to attack Jews.
Песня Мордехая Гебиртига!
Wow
The world should never forget the depth of suffering endured by the people of Israel throughout history. From the pogroms of Russia to the horrors of Auschwitz, the people of Israel were the one, who constantly were oppressed, suffered massacres and depravity towards civilian Jewish population, Jewish little babies and Israeli children. There is eternal connection of the people of Israel to G-d and the Holy Land, which He gave only to His one chosen nation - Israel FOREVER. Let us pray for the quickest safe return of the Jewish hostages and Israeli soldiers back home. With G-d`s help may the Almighty send the Lubavitcher Rebbe King Moshiach from the house of David and bring the Final Redemption to all the Jewish people in his absolute kindness and goodness! Nations of the world should adhere to 7 Laws of Noah, that were given to Moses by G-D on the mount Sinai together with the 10 commandments for the Jews according to Judaism. G-D wants that non-Jews choose to adhere to 7 Laws for them in order to live in peace and harmony with Jewish people.

Why do you have "Warsaw ghetto uprising" in the description when the song is from 1936? Even a simple wikipedia search will clear it up.
The song was originally made in 1936 yes, but later it was also commonly used for holocaust commemoration or in programmes of World War II Ghetto music
It's still misleading... Commemoration is not the same as an uprising! l@@DutchWarrior7
@@ProsteYiddish It wasnt used only for commemoration, that is just one of two examples I mentioned. It was also used by Jewish groups fighting against the Nazi's in the second world war, for example in ghetto uprisings. When you look at the lyrics of this song, it also makes sense, because it mentions that the town is burning, just like in the ghetto uprising.
The blue and white flag was used by the Jewish Combat Organization, which is Polish. It has nothing to do with Israel.
@@DutchWarrior7 Ah okay didn't realise that was the ZOB flag. Have edited that comment. I still think you could have a less misleading title. Warsaw was no shtetl!
well well well
