Literally all I want is to have a camera record out my window while flying so it captures everything I do from flaps, reverse thrust, speed breaks, sound effects, etc. This just records the movements of the airplane; it's buggy, and you can literally record the flight while the airplane is off. How can it be so difficult to make something decent and so simple?
How much money do I have to spend on an Xbox controller? I was looking a few months ago, and they can get *expensive*. And then, on the other hand, I've seen a slew of generic ones, that are dirt cheap...Please advise.
Hello, drone camera movements should work the same. If you are talking about Flight Recorder, I do not know about any alternatives on Xbox unfortunately.
Definitely approve the Xbox controller for drone. Been using it since I got all my flight hardware (3 years using controller to fly airliners lol, feels so much better, just need a bravo instead of this PoS saitek throttle)
Hello. First, you load up a scenario, press record in Flight Recorder and fly around. Second, you pause your flight and press Stop Recording in Flight Recorder, then press Replay and you are in Replay mode. Third, navigate where you want to record your cinematic video, using the slider on the vertical profile, and switch to Drone Camera. Let me know if you have any other questions. 😉
So the file can not be saved as a MP4 or something when save ?? So always have to play it back and then record with obs ????

I agree 100%...hopefully the upcoming MSFS 2024 has thoroughly addressed this issue

what program do you use to save the video file? do you output to high quality mp4?
Hello, I use NVIDIA ShadowPlay or the classic version of OBS for all my video recordings. 😉

Nice video how large are the files when you record them
The Flight Recorder files are very small. The recorded .mp4 files are around 2 GB for an hour long video. It really depends on your bitrate settings.

Hey, I never got into Sky Dolly so can’t really tell. Flight Recorder has worked wonders for me so far.

does flight recorder work with the a32x fbw
It should work with every plane. Not sure how well it simulates flaps, spoilers etc.
@@rwyinsight when i start the replay it takes exactly what stste the plane was left in and deletes all my waypoints and everything when i scroll back
did I miss something here, how are you recording the drone footage from the playback ? or is that saved into the the recorded version ?
