Fantastic job! The drum majors are killing it. This band reminds me of the Jackson State University marching band which is a huge compliment considering they are a high school.
My cousin is graduating from Skyline in May. I just don't understand how she didn't tell me her school band gets down like this. All the fundraisers for track, man I would have no problem supporting this band. That Santa Claus go straight to the ghetto, gave me life.

I live in Los Angeles and the only HBCU band I’m truly in love with is SU’s. Sorry but JSU is nowhere near being the best band. To me, Southern is the epitome of style, precision, musicianship and class. I can appreciate all these bands in the South though. Great job.

As a former arranger for high schools and colleges in NC it’s impressive the reach of socail media. I wish it had been around. It’s a reminder that the first super bowl ,Grambling performed and the entire halftime show was presented and high schools north of Louisiana were trying to copy the March style that HBCU’s took from Big Ten Bands because most HBCU band directors went to graduate school in the Midwest. I love this band. 3 part harmony stacked in the trombones and F’s. No intonation. I like this band.
