Wright and McConville are absolute coups from Knapper. Wright in particular I can see being a massive player.
Some serious talent there.
I’m the wrong side of 50 and this is comfortably the best all round transfer window I can remember!
Yes if may prove to be a good business this January transfer window without the risk of wasting a lot of moey
I'm 73, and this is the best transfer window in my lifetime...
You’re right to get excited, I’ve been a supporter since 1959, I can feel good things coming back to this club
Jacob Wright is a real player, I don't think people realise yet what a coup this is.
Just left the same comment before I saw yours. Agree.
I don't but am keen to see very soon!
Give Norwich 6 years and we will see us back to where we should be Top 6 in the Premier League. On the ball city
top 6 in the prem?! r you serious
@@lapsy4551 why not, we have finished 3rd in the past
@@andrewrobotham2913 The PL has changed since then. With the recent exception of Leicester, it's the same clubs occupying the top six places every season.
I remember it well, that season we were 8 points clear at Christmas, second was man utd,3 rd Aston villa who we beat 3,2 away and 1,0 at home John polston winner, last 2 matches we beat Liverpool at home 1,0 ,then we went to Middlesbrough and got a 3,3 draw to make sure we finished in the top 3, hopefully we can have a team ready for the premiership again 💛💚👍🇬🇫🏴🙏@@andrewrobotham2913
For the English fans who aren’t familiar with Gaelic pronunciation, Jack included.
You can pronounce Ruairi two ways.
Either just as Rory, the straight English translation.
Or the Gaelic is pronounced like “reur-ee” you don’t really punctuate the A
Some of them are still talking about Kenny ‘McLeen’ so Ruari will be tricky for them, glad you gave them a hint!
Your right to be excited. I just wonder where we're gonna put all the statues !
Great transfer window .. just needed another striker .. let’s hope Josh stays fit 🤞
Maybe controversial but Webber's "root not the fruit" is coming to fruition. It's not luck or accident that these top young players want to join us. We've built a reputation and have the environment and facilities for these young pros to prosper. Just need the fans to show a little patience whilst this young team gels.
I've seen a good few transfer windows at norwich and I think the last 2 under JHT and Knapper are among the best for what the club need. May not be too many flashy signings, but exactly what Norwich need
The only thing missing is a back up for Sargent which worries me. Aside from that, excellent, young acquisitions and all in real positions of need for us
We already have a back up for Sarge, Ante Crnac. Now we've brought in some more wingers we don't have to worry about playing Crnac out wide so now Sarge's minutes can be managed better.
@@mattbradley5520 I agree Crnac is Sargents understudy and in time Schwartau will appear as a striker
Crnac has 5 goals in 28 appearances this season and isn’t really a 9. We’ve seen him struggle a bit when he is asked to be the focal point of the attack. I’d argue Dobbin might be a better option centrally when all the other wide players are available. Ideally though Sarge stays fit and scores another 10-15 goals before the end of the season and we head to Wembley 😉
@@RC-yd3hx Early days re Crnac, it took Sara 6 months to adjust. Furthermore Crnac is only 20 and I hope he will be a better player by the time he is 22 and stronger.
@ I agree in time he could become an absolute beast, but I preferred the rugged shithousery of Barnes this season whilst Crnac finds his feet 😂
It's Wednesday and I'm already looking forward to Saturday. Can't wait! OTBC.
Congratulations Jacob ❤ Melissa & Gordon
What excites me is for once we are not lamenting a transfer window where our best players have been poached leaving the squad weaker
Love the content lad
A great window as we trimmed the fat and brought in players who can hopefully make a big impact
A little disappointing that we didn’t get a striker in but I’m sure that will be addressed in the summer as will the GK situation
I have a funny feeling that we will go up this year.
Add to the new signings the fact that we’ve held on to Gobber Sainz, it’s been a good window!
Seen and heard a fair few people saying if anything happens to Sargent then we are in trouble, and to a certain extent i agree, but with jurasek now available, he will most probably be going on the right side of our attack, so if something does happen to Sargent, then crnac , or schwartau would need to step up, yes i know they hardly set the championship alight so far , but they are young , give them time.
Just some old gits opinion and i felt like sharing for a change.
This was definitely a slow but meaningful transfer window
It reminds me the of the 22/23 dean smith summer transfer where we didn’t do particularly much but whenever we signed a player, they were definitely successful! I see the same thing with this window and it’s really exciting!
We definitely didn’t do much compared to other championship clubs like Sheffield Utd and Leeds unfortunately but I still think we can reach the play offs minimum!
Jack you're really getting me going
**** They are using the money from the sales of Sara, Idah and Kamara not MA's money.
Yep we’re £3m in the black still as well as the wages bill down. Really good business
These signings look promising but we won't know whether or not this has been a good transfer window until the signings start playing. Remember Naismith and Placheta?
Literally all our star players are in the webber camp. Not to mention the likes of bundia and Sara. Which lined knappers pocket. His managers not to shoddy either. I like our new manager but no where near farke level yet.
Totally agree with everything you have said jack . Let's date to dream. This year will be 40 years since we beat Sunderland in the milk cup final. I have a feeling that we will beat them once again at Wembley 40 years on come May 💚💛💪.
The collection of young talents excited me nothing better then a find like lousian or a great buy like Oscar add all the others from this window and wow ether this season and certainly next are going to be special times 💛💚⬆️💪💪
It seems like the trunk of the great Canary tree has been vigorously shaken over the past couple of years and (I don't like to use the phrase dead wood, lets just say seasoned branches) have ALL fallen and there's the new shoots of success beginning to appear ... Let's Go!
Funny thing is I really don't think Thorup will want to get promoted this season. All this squad building is for the championship next year. If we do go up I think we'll have to treat it as a free hit.
Like the manager and the young team he’s building. Josh is the big issue, if he gets injured again we’re sunk.
While I guess we should take the opportunity to get promoted via the Play Offs this season, I would not like to see us get pounded in the PL next season and come straight down again. While I fully understand the commercial implications of promotion , I would rather see us absolutely smash the Championship next season and then go back up as Champions. Another year of what Hoff & Knaps are creating, with a solid bunch of quality young players really kicking-on, would set us up far better for a run back into the PL in a couple of season. There's no point going up if we can't sustain PL status and I am not sure we will be ready by next season.
Thought Dobbin was a loan?
I don't see a huge influx of players this summer, they are already in the building, I see several going out... Sainz will be sold, Kenny will move north, Duffy will find a longer contract elsewhere and we might lose Stacey and Doyle unfortunately will return... but with the new recruits this Jan we already have a good squad, add in 2 - 3 big signings (5 - 8m) and then a 2 loans and some U21s think we will be done... Unless we get promoted! 🎉😂
Didn’t we bring in Krul, Buendia, Pukki and Zimmerman in for £70?
Question should be answered in a couple of years…
