So I recently finished watching this series by the BBC, and I absolutely loved it. It's all about magic so right up my alley. I also have a soft spot for baddies and Marc Warren's portrayal of the Gentleman was just perfect (hence the video).
In other words, this is my tribute to his character and the series! I hope you enjoy!

The show just finished over here on BBC America so I'm going through all my subscriptions right now with people who did JSMN videos, and oh, I loved this video! I'll admit, I was more of a Strange fangirl, but Marc Warren was so captivating in this role. Definitely a great villain. Excellent song choice and loved the editing!

This is just amazing. When it ended, I wanted to play it again! I especially love the end when he is being pulled into the tree because the music seems to really fit that moment. This song pairs with JSMN very well! Because of this video, the song has become my favourite song!

As a fan of Gothic fiction and romance, jane eyre, northanger abby,woman in white, rebecca, dragonwyck and magic like harry potter, the prestige, labyrinth, phantom of the opera, dracula etc. -- It was Wonderful to discover this series. I was So enchanted with the story I went and read the book. -- Just amazing and everything I look for in a great story. Very enjoyable and an instant classic to join my library collection :))

That was such a magically vicious series. I loved the difference between the dabblers and the truly magical in it.

Hahaha, that's wonderful! I really love the Gentleman and your rendering of him as some sort of romantic or gothic hero is a little bit surprising but never the less awesome and exciting! ;) I would have loved a sub-plot in the tv series about the Gentleman being tragically in (true, deep and romantic) love with Strange's wife instead of just fancying her...and her possibly secretly returning his feelings.

I'm sorry, this is awful. Your editing may be good, but I just can't see the logic. When I watch the Gentleman the last thing I think of is a song in a popular soft porn film.
