Yemi Alade Now I consider you my top favourite Nigerian Artist because you're talented, beautiful (in every context) beyond words and also find the time to thank your fans. I will continue to publicly support you. God bless you African Queen.
This is 1 of the many things i like about African videos.. they don't quite go the distance to filter out certain things that would be considered imperfect. In most western videos they'd either wear multiple spanx till all is smooth or use effects to perfect body parts. I like to see a natural body. She looks beautiful, and her body in my opinion is gorgeous.
+One4theworld Remember, this is Africa, we love our ladies with a bit more than bones on them, no we're not perfect, but we don't comform to the idea that ONLY being skinny is the sexiest thing.
Nandi, Sheeba, Nefertiti, Yemi is such a beautiful positive image of and for our people worldwide she's like the mornings sunshine ... Graceful as Mrs. Mandela ,Michelle, and Coretta. Much love and success from the U.S. :')
❤🥹 was heart broken by a gurl n she made me d guy I am today now I can’t fall in love I just flirt 🥹n I really need to have dat feeling again cos Godddd
From the dmv in America you are so talented. I pray people will truly see how gifted you are Yemi, not just Africa but internationally you reach people. Stay blessed in abundance
YES CONFIDENCE IS THE WORD, IN THIS HIGHLY COMPETITIVE MUSIC INDUSTRY, SHE WAS ABLE TO FIND HER PATH, DEFINE IT, AND PUT HER FOOTPRINTS ON IT... YEMI IS A STAR, THE BEST OF HER WORLD, AND SHE WILL BE AROUND FOR A LOOOOOONG TIME... THIS IS WORLD CLASS... WELL-DONE YEMI, MORE POWER TO YOUR ELBOW
+Bishop Douglass This is a very unfair thing to say. It also happens to be an outright lie. Using the same rubric, one can as well say the same thing about everything Nigerian or African. Painting with broad strokes is naive and shows a lack of intellect. African Americans have achieved very many great things. There is room for improvement everywhere. What you should have said is to encourage +Candace B to inject her intuitive sentiment about African heritage into her work and activities wherever she is. Be positive always!
I have become addicted to Yemi's songs. I first heard her on Pandora Radio. I was entertained by her voice and went on youtube to find her. The result was amazing. I can't stop listening to her songs. I play the tracks over and over. This is one my favorite songs, and so is Nakupenda. Love you YEMI from the USA. Keep the good work.
No Yemi you are the one making my temperature to rise. Oh my God, U r bleesed with enormous talent and above that, u r superbe, beautiful. Wao from where i am, i tell u congrats and continue as such. thanks for this beautifull song
one thing I appreciate about Yemi, her videos are just natural in the sense that girls are represented as beautiful amazing african queens, not for their bodies, but for everything they are and she portrays that so well.......
I live in South Africa, I've lived here for all my life. Yemi makes me so proud to be of Nigerian descent (Yoruba). Nigeria the greatest country in Africa, Original Hebrew glory.
Tshepiso Modupe Shalom Yoruba Princess. I learned that my ancestors that were sold on cargo slave ships were actually the Hebrews as well. The Igbos, and Ghana too!!!!!
+Tshepiso Modupe Firstly, Nigerian borders where created by white people and the name Nigerian was create by the Queen of England. There is nothing to be proud of as long as the colonial chains are still there. Yoruba is an African tribe, I have no idea where you get this Hebrew mess from. Stop mixing the white man's bible stories with authentic African history. The Yoruba have their own deities and gods, not new for the white man's garbage! Lastly, there were no Hebrew slaves sold as cargo on slave ships. History is what is proven and that which have a timeline. Nothing in the bible is history, it is a myth so stop mixing the two. You don't need the white man's validation to exist and claim a history. Accept your own and be your own. There was no one name Jesus, who existed, it is all a lie create by the white man and force on Blacks and others of the world. The ancestry DNA test don't identify your ancestry, it on identify a very small piece..you can claim Yoruba just because of that test because it only identify one strand of DNA out of many. that one strand could be yoruba and the other could all be wolof and you running around saying you Yoruba. Stop this non sense and educate yourselves about DNA testing. In closing, get rid of that Nigerian name and adopt an Africa name and discuss realigning the borders. The United Republic of Songhai would be appropriate!
i dont know how i found yemi alade. but i am hooked. listening to her cd everyday allday. i played her music for my co workers. they were suprised it was nigerian they thought she was from brazil. very talented. come to america.
Now this is what I call a real song.. big up for this one YEMI ALADE , am so in love with the chorus oh my gosh,I love this song to the extend that only God knows.
I often wonder what makes anyone decide to "thumb down" her work. If you don't like, slide past. You can actively CHOOSE, everyday, to spread JOY (like Yemi). You're "dislike" is not productive or even necessary, for that matter. One's tiny opinion is an exercise in "self-importance." It doesn't really ADD. And, that tiny drop can never take away from the ocean of positive joy Yemi brings to the world. But, I really WANT to know, WHY the "thumb down?"
Our queen YEMI i can not find words to describe the value of your music and your talent. God protect you. Best wishes from the people of Guinea-Bissau.
i love this music and my son loves it as well . We've been playing yemi on repeat and he's only 5 😌😌 its so much more meaningful than the new hip hop & rnb
This Yemi Alade , her music/swag/smile in every music is too much.. mschewww.. my temperature dey rise anytime i hear her song.. your producer/makeup artist is the baddest.. una ova sabiii
okuomose okuns I don't think race has anything to do with it, I think it has more to do with language. Other than British and other English speaking countries we aren't being flooded with music from other European countries.
Love love the song. Literally, every song you've released is better than the last one. Yemi you are just full of surprises when I think you have done it you put out another song....
Honestly black is so beautiful God has blessed us I wish we know how extraordinary the black ethnicity is. What a beauty, confidence and talent. We must love who we are never allowing any one else tell us who we are.

+Lauren K Nah Lauren K. I liked her make up in Johnny. The Johnny video is dope. But her stylists are a bit so so to be honest. As she gets bigger she needs an upgrade. Her make up was Ok but I think natural colours suit black skin and her complexion. You can do interesting things with make up but I have seen better. The make up looks heavy and the pastel colors are terrible.

This is a very nice song. It is a shame that such music and music videos aren't played by the American mainstream.
What do u expect, America is a racist country.
okuomose okuns I don't think race has anything to do with it, I think it has more to do with language. Other than British and other English speaking countries we aren't being flooded with music from other European countries.
Q. Lom Yes it does, especially in America. The whites disdain African Americans while the African Americans disdain Africans.
okuomose okuns I disagree. Let's just say respectfully, I have my opinions and you have yours.
okuomose okuns That's a bit harsh! Maybe some do, but most are proud of their roots.
Love love the song. Literally, every song you've released is better than the last one. Yemi you are just full of surprises when I think you have done it you put out another song....

Big up to her make up artist though, her face beat asf
Lauren K. Hmmmmm
U don't think so?
+Lauren K
Nah Lauren K.
Long live Yemi ! Thank you for so much good songs
