One of the things I'd be interested in seeing in Sochi is the saunas/banya. In the US, the sauna is usually just attached to the end of a gym workout while in Russia it was a day long activity with different pools, billiards, drinks, lounges, etc.
Hi Svetlana 👋. I always enjoy your videos as they are interesting, informative and humorous. It really does "put me in a good mood". 👍🏻. The little town that you are staying in is so beautiful and peaceful. I enjoyed seeing all of the delicious fruits and vegetables in the farmers' market. The salad that you made looked extremely healthy and tasty. If you have time, please include any demonstrations of the foods that you like to prepare for yourself and your family. @@SamsRussianAdventuresThe news media in the US is largely saying that the sanctions are destroying the Russian economy and making it much harder for average people. In addition, there is a lot of talk about how the Russian economy will collapse from the sanctions at some point on the future. Also, they are saying that Russia oil profits are way down and are such a big part of the Russian economy that it will destroy the economy.
Sochi looks very nice. Hard to believe from those opening shots of you on the beach that it was a winter Olympic host at one point... It often looks deceivingly tropical for most people's idea of Russia!
@@pantx0 I'm from England, but I'm quite familiar with US geography. Wikipedia defines Sochi as a "humid subtropical" climate. I would think its probably more comparable to somewhere further down the East Coast than NY... Maybe Georgia or South Carolina?
Please do a video about all the Russians who are happy about Russian psychokillers killing Ukrainian children. Thanks & say 'hi' to your psychotic leader Putin Khuylo! Thanks! Blyat!
@@KOTDM1988 I have Russian friends that know Sochi and NYC and they say it's comparable. My son lives in Atlanta, Georgia and it's rare that it snows there. The Carolinas get colder than Georgia but not considerably. I don't know why Wikipedia describes Sochi as "subtropical" when they are so far north above the equator and even 3 degrees more north than NYC. I live in Miami and I describe the climate here as "subtropical'. In any case I reckon the characteristics are that it can get cold and snowy (enough for winter Olympics despite man made snow) but hot enough for holidays!

Family can be the best, or the worst, to be around! I've had a sore neck before. too. It really hurts and interferes with your day. I think your "bad wine" helped to relax your neck muscles. I like how you added the animals you came upon, especially the cats. I'd like to see you doing a short workout at the beach. I'd also like to see you and your family out on a boat. Can you hire someone to take you out on the sea ? Hope you get your wish to leave Russia. You should move here to Los Angeles before winter arrives. Your English is really good and you will fit in great!

Ive been to Moscow 4 times (married a Svetlana) and was amazed at Russians insatiable appetite for books, on the metro, on buses, in tea, coffee shops everywhere people reading. God speed mighty Russia.
I really enjoyed this vlog! I have seen very little of Sochi. So, anything you get into a vlog I would love to see. Looks like a very pretty place! Thank you very much and have a nice weekend!
as by your request: In your previous videos you regularly informed about the history of places, distinctive culture, architecture, etc. Would be interesting to learn such about Sochi as well in case you haven't done it already and I only missed it.... Furthermore: What do people do for their living? Who lives in Sochi?, Any particularly industries/businesses? Why did you choose Sochi for summer? Did you choose it above another place? And: How does the F1-circuit/the olympic area look, when there is no race? Sorry - all questions, as if there where no "Zituation"... Keep posting, stay confident.
Lovely vlog. Nice to see proper Salad rather than the supermarket stuff. Your sister is brilliant! So funny! In all honesty, I can tell how a person is, from how they act around their family. Honestly made me smile. I'd love to see food and traditions videos and even family days. Its so good to see, and its real!
You made a lovely video of you and family enjoying some time in the country side with all your family. What about a video of you with your family playing outdoor games and larking around. Your sister mum, step Dad, aunts and uncles are all lovely people. It’s lovely to see you all having fun. It’s great therapy. (BTW I was an annoying younger brother).
Svetlana!! Your sister is awesome! LOL she had me laughing out loud LOL Thank you for another great video and it is really nice to see Sochi and Russia with all your videos. Take care and see you in the next one!

Looking at the fruit stand with all the nectarines, peached berry's , grapes, it's the same as we have here in California, please excuse my ignorance, I thought Russia is devoid of most fruit! I learn something new every days. one thing I thought was odd is drinking tea or coffee on the beach in hot summer day! I would of liked some cold drink or maybe a cold beer! nice to see your sister taking however small part in the video.
Hi Svetlana, I’m a subscriber to your channel and enjoy your videos because you bring us along with you on your journeys. I hope you are enjoying your vacation in Sochi with your family. I especially enjoy when you visit the farmer’s markets. So many delicious fruits and vegetables. Take care.
This video is by far my top 5 videos of your arsenal of videos from Russia. I loved the way you and your sister engage in pranks and silly talks - awesome relationship, never stop. Your video is full of beautiful sceneries, food, drinks, ocean views and it is well edited and well narrated. As for ideas for new videos, how about a video with regards to Russian spooky/scary stories. Halloween is just around the corner for Europe and the US, and this could be a good way to share Russian legends. 🍁🍂🎃🇷🇺🇲🇽

@@SamsRussianAdventures The news is stating that russia won't really feel the effects of any sanctions for the next year because of the amount of money generated from oil/gas sales in prior years and that after 1 year the ruble will start to decrease in value (estimated) within the next 6 years the ruble will crash and will take russia years to recover
Your sister is awesome. What a great sense of humor! :D You said you are staying in Dagomys, maybe you could go to Sochi center? Maybe that would be a fun adventure?
What a great view of Sochi ..lovely and sunny the beach looks uncomfortable with those stone slate... it's good that you have comfy seat's and loungers.. fantastic video none the less..! Keep up the great work..

I have spent time in Moscow and Kursk. One thing that I noticed was that the women were far more helpful than the men. There seemed to be a lot more women than men, and now that your country's military is sending men to their deaths in Ukraine, there will be even more women verses men. I was in a nightclub in Kursk. Unlike Canada, the nightclubs are open 7 days a week there, and it was even busy on a Monday evening. At 1 AM, there were 9 women for every man in the club. As soon as your country gets rid of its current leader, I will make a point of visiting Sochi and St. Petersburg. I love that the women there are mostly blue eyed, slim, and dress very femininely. I found that the men were often drunk. I went for a run in the morning at 7 AM., and saw men waiting for the bus to go to work, and they had a beer in each hand. When I flew out of Moscow, it was in the morning, 8 AM, and all of the posts were occupied by women. There were very few men working in the airport. All of the women were stunningly beautiful blondes. It made me want to stay just for the women. I flew via Lufthansa Airlines, and even at that time of the morning, there were 4 drunk Russian men raising cane on the plane. The airline hostess said that it is almost every flight out of Moscow that has drunk men board the plane. Canada has a shortage of slim, blue eyed, beautiful women. We should be importing Russian women to here. Starting with you.
Sveta’s back in Sochi- yay!!! And Better Help is probably very handy now for a lot of people in these troubled times … as for mall- endless REMONT REMONT REMONT🤦♀ ! Your salads always look so magnificent 🥗 and as for tea house, Sveta pereputalas… belki belki v/mozghi …It’s always a good thing (like a smooth cup of fine coffee 🍵) when I start off my day with a new and interesting post from you 😊!
Because you asked, how about showing us the Sochi Olympic Stadium and surroundings, if you think that's cool. Thanks for the day! Your sister's very cool!
Hi from California Svetlana!! I’d like to see more cooking and eating with the family videos. From the farmers market to the table. Everyone drinking and laughing and telling stories 🙏🏼Also what’s the night life, club and/or bar scene like there? You don’t have to drink, but seeing that side of Sochi would be really cool!! Besides that I just love watching you explore. I really enjoy your videos!! 🙌🏼✌🏼
I used to live in Russia but never was in these parts of the country. Thanks to your channel, I can consider going there for summer vacation and revisit St Petersburg. Great content, thanks!
Love the video Svetlana, great content as usual. Youre so sincere and dedicated to being yourself, which makes the viewer feel close to you. Liked the addition if your sister in the video. You are amazing Svetlana in so many ways. Your smile is heart warming, and your simply gorgeous.
I second that! A Sochi food tour would be great with the menu prices and such. And not just some posh restaurants but basic dinners and street food as well!
Great to see you again! You are looking quite tanned from that Sochi sun. That Farmers Market looks really wonderful and you made a delicious looking salad!.
Hey Svetlana, I hope you are having a lot of khinkali, kubdari and khachapuri in Sochi. Good Georgian restaurants. I want to see you eating mouth watering khinkali and dig into kubdari at a Georgian restaurant in Sochi in your next video. Kubdari is the best dish, Svetlana, the best dish ever.
I would like a video explaining how safe it is to travel to russia nowadays. And what do you think about the english speakers in Russia I mean if there are many and if people are confortable to speak with Foreigners. Thank you.
Россия является одной из самых безопасных стран. Что же касается английского языка то в туристических местах практически везде есть дублирующие надписи на этом языке. Это относится и к общественному транспорту.
Lol there's isn't one country on earth (except north korea) which doesn't have English translations on every street name, highway markers, buildings etc.
it's been pretty safe in Russia for 20 years. 90s were unsafe, but it's been 30 years since then. no one will rob you or confront you because of English language. it something that just never happens in Russia, doesn't matter the language, culturally Russians just mind their own business and go on with their lives. and we generally match the energy of anyone who approaches us if you don't approach us with negativity, you have nothing to worry about. but I'm not going to lie, the attitudes towards West worsened a bit, it's just my observation. if this is something you are uneasy with, I'd recommend to wait this out, no one knows what happens tomorrow or next week. let's wait for simpler times, hope we get there sooner.
Maybe some video about nature around Sochi, or some cultural life in Sochi. Or life of average people in that region, outside of all tourist "disneylands".
Thank you for the video. Your family time is always fun to watch. You were like the running Mona Lisa. I hope you are still planning for your future. The scenery around Sochi is beautiful for your videos. Take care and be safe.
Loooooove It, from.sunny Mx Don't complain you are soooooo lucky, live day by day. "Loose the tragedy face, girl" my mother said, "you have food, shelter, family, friends, health, doctors, piece close around you, car, beautiful places to go, nature close by, good memories, books, power, gas, others have nothing"..."and most importantly God, so be grateful, don't live in the past, nor in the future, take it day by day and smile, life is too short".
Pleeease: national park with waterfalls, what left from olympic games 😊, maybe sime facts about history of Soči. Have a great summer 🌞 and best regards to your sister 😁💋, you are so funny together 👏👏
Can you create a video for people to come from different country and stay in Sochi for vacation. What will the average price, or something in that nature?
It could be interesting to see the Sochi Olympic Park venue- Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sochi_Olympic_Park. The 2014 Winter Olympics, officially known as the XXII Olympic Winter Games, were held in Sochi, Russia. The events were held around two clusters of new venues: an Olympic Park constructed in Sochi's Imeretinsky Valley on the coast of the Black Sea, with Fisht Olympic Stadium, and the Games' indoor venues located within walking distance; and snow events in the resort settlement of Krasnaya Polyana. The games were held from February 7 to February 23, 2014. Source: Conversation with Bing, 7/8/2023 Sochi Olympic Park - Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sochi_Olympic_Park.
As a Canadian I can totally relate to the feeling of working out outside. We get amazing weather in the summer, but it doesn't last long. Really enjoyed this video. Your sister is quite a character and I really hope she'll start a TH-cam channel too. Her English seems fine. Greetings from Canada. Hope Russia will reconcilliate with the world. You guys deserve better than the current system.
I was cut off partially from my first post. But I was wondering if you could research this woman Russian vlogger known as “Stellanity Life” because she has deleted her TH-cam videos. It’s distressing since it appeared she did not have enough money to support herself due to sanctions - and her last video looked like she might have become reliant on some man to support her. She appeared to look desperate and need this stranger man to feed her in exchange for certain physical favors. She’s an attractive woman who seemed vulnerable for exploitation by this man she never mentioned before.
is she unable to work? if she's handicapped and he abuses her, the authorities need to be informed and she may be fit for some pensions. but if she's healthy and she's a russian citizen, she needs to find a job. time for leisure is no more.
A really great video. Love seeing you with your sister. It's nice to see you getting together with family. I guess more video of the beach would be nice.
Thanks for this beautiful video it always nice to see you I like to say you have a beautiful family nice to be watching take care beautiful and be safe ❤️🙏🤗
Oh my that is a long vacation. I have never had a vacation that long. Hmmm Talk about your future plans as they relate to Sochi. Visit all the small local pubs and food places and talk to the people. What are the local favorites, where do people work and what do they do. Do they know who you are and your TH-cam videos. Do they all spend all day looking at their phones etc.
Yeah great day 👍, you can show your shootings, your cameras, your desktop or laptop how you are making your awesome videos. Russian fish market, farmers life can be a good content. Best wishes 👍🙏 from Kolkata, India🇮🇳
Funny Svetlana would ask about activities. I had an accountant who used to do my taxes who visited Sochi several times with his Russian girlfriend (now wife) in the summer, and raved about it whenever he did my taxes, so I remember some things. Top attraction for them: Mt. Akhun's observation tower. Incredible view; and, I believe a nice restaurant in or near the tower. Boat charter with lunch and fishing for only 5-10 thousand rubles for several hours for two people. A famous cave system in a national park, and the park also has some neat walking trails and amazing waterfalls. Nice for a picnic. In Sochi: an impressive art museum; and, a fun amusement park (Rivera or Riveresta???). These are all I can remember. Hopefully, Svetlana has acquired some of her money (held up by the war) so she can enjoy herself a little in Sochi.
Amazing how Sochi looks like many places in the world. Every place looks like another place. Architecture and language makes them different. Too bad politics can screw things up.

I intend to put together a video clip for my youtube channel about life in Russia as a foreigner, which compares what is being claimed on western news with regards to the result of economic sanctions on Russia with the reality on the ground in Russia. To do this I need to understand what is being said on your nations news concerning the result of sanctions on Russia. It will be interesting for me to find out if the news and the truth differ from reality
I don't know if you're in the USA but Sochi has similar weather as New York City, where one can have a cold winter but a sunny and hot summer.
@@pantx0 I'm from England, but I'm quite familiar with US geography.
Wikipedia defines Sochi as a "humid subtropical" climate. I would think its probably more comparable to somewhere further down the East Coast than NY... Maybe Georgia or South Carolina?
Please do a video about all the
Russians who are happy about Russian psychokillers killing Ukrainian children.
@@KOTDM1988 from my pov of a former New Yorker Sochi has climate similar to that in Spain or Portugal. NYC is hotter and Miami is way way hotter.
Fascinating and thank you.
Ideas:
1. The Formula 1 racetrack
2. The winter Olympics venues.
The country side of Sochi looks marvelous especially the mountains and waterfalls and the tasty food. greeting from Oslo

I really enjoyed this vlog! I have seen very little of Sochi. So, anything you get into a vlog I would love to see. Looks like a very pretty place! Thank you very much and have a nice weekend!
Thank you!
She practically did not show Sochi.
as by your request: In your previous videos you regularly informed about the history of places, distinctive culture, architecture, etc.
Yes! F1 and olympics would be cool to see!!
Another great video, thank you for sharing Sochi life.
Sun helps with pain, walking on grass too, hugging a tree too, leaning on a big tree too, cool or warm showers, saunas.

Take care.
We would like you to make more videos with your cute sister Sonia. Love the ones you have made & look forward to more.
love you so much svetlana. your imagination maybe inspiring to make dreams a reality. a fancy cozy tea house sounds wonderful.

I just arrived Sochi for holidays as well. Am impressed by the structural developments in the centre. Do you visit the center often ?
Your sister is awesome. What a great sense of humor! :D You said you are staying in Dagomys, maybe you could go to Sochi center? Maybe that would be a fun adventure?
What a great view of Sochi ..lovely and sunny the beach looks uncomfortable with those stone slate... it's good that you have comfy seat's and loungers.. fantastic video none the less..! Keep up the great work..

В Сочи нет простых русских людей! 😂
Loved the farmers market. Quite a pretty place. I like this video.

Thanks for new video :)
I used to live in Russia but never was in these parts of the country. Thanks to your channel, I can consider going there for summer vacation and revisit St Petersburg. Great content, thanks!
The best videos always include the family - who all have a quite good sense of humor.

Great to see you again! You are looking quite tanned from that Sochi sun.

Hey Svetlana, I hope you are having a lot of khinkali, kubdari and khachapuri in Sochi. Good Georgian restaurants. I want to see you eating mouth watering khinkali and dig into kubdari at a Georgian restaurant in Sochi in your next video. Kubdari is the best dish, Svetlana, the best dish ever.
do you advertise your restaurant?

Don't complain you are soooooo lucky, live day by day.
