Bon Voyage farewell version is sung in all English. The instruments sound cleaner, but overall this version is identical to the original.

Congratulations on getting Siyeon this time! Remember the "she" sound in the beginning of her name even though the English spelling doesn't seem that way, it's a Korean thing. Ironically the MV about fakeness in social media is the first one ever that she showed her naturally curly hair.
4:50 That tattoo on her shoulder is SY stylized to look like a treble clef from sheet music. If you can see her tattoos you'll know it's Siyeon. She also has the birth years of her family in Roman numerals across her back and right side, and "Paradise is where I am" written on the back of her neck. Siyeon is, in fact, the coolest member of Dreamcatcher.
Blue hair in this one is Yoohyeon from the horse and slow motion turns in Bon Voyage. Her voice is AMAZING she's as talented as Siyeon just in vocal agility instead of high notes or belting.
You mixed up Siyeon with SuA before. Here SuA is on the motorcycle. Handong is the blonde and Gahyeon the pink hair that whisper to us, Dami still the rapper, and JiU the goddess.

Chase Me to Piri are the Nightmare Series. Scream to Odd Eye are the Dystopia Trilogy. Maison To Bon Voyage are the Apocalypse Trilogy. Deja Vu and Because are standalone.
Watch a Guide and you'll recognise them soon enough.

At first glance you could think this is about them being proud and happy with themselves, about confidence. I don't think that is it though. The album is called VersuS VillainS, which makes me think it is not this simple. So I believe this song is meant as a criticism of narcissism, vanity, materialism and also (maybe) the fast fashion industry. "OOTD" stands for "Outfit of the Day" after all, maybe it's about useless instagram fashion-influencers posting videos of their outfit of the day, which also promotes fast fashion.
The fact that fashion is moving ever faster makes it the most destructive industry to the planet only outdone by the fossil fuel industry. The Aral lake has all but disappeared because of the cotton industry for example. It would fit to the Villain image, and you can see in the MV that they are acting. It is shown in the scene where Yoohyeon and Handong are fighting, but then the camera is off and Handong helps Yoohyeon up.
The main reason why I don't think it is about confidence or their own success is the line "Driving on the highway, drunken everyday, do you feel like a monster?" and the album title. That just doesn't fit. And there was the ymenehcra (arch enemy backwards) account posting about touching a crown is dangerous and other cryptic messages before the comeback.
It could also be a big and well-hidden F*U to the Kpop industry, like the Nightmare arc probably was. The narcissism and materialism is definitely criticized here, and Dreamcatcher have been criticized a lot themselves because of their rock/metal concept, while other groups have been celebrated for using a guitar riff once in a song. And Handong standing in front of the camera with bruises all over her legs seems to be a comment on the merciless industry as well.
The music is highly interesting as well. The Rock is dirty and distorted. The song structure is not what you'd expect at all, for me it is funk rock meets K-Pop. Not their usual spiel, but a very good progression. It takes a couple of listens to really appreciate it.
Siyeon is the one with the red hair, you were right about that!

Well, I see a lot of insomnia's already told you what the lyrics is about so i'm just gonna give you some storyline:
In the beggining we see a girl working on photoshop, that is Sasha. We can see that she works for Company C (dreamcatcher's company name in this universe) and it is editing for dreamcatcher, but she is also a fan, so she enters the dreamchat where is ymenehcra and ymenehcra is talking about the "power of the crown". We know A LOT about ymenehcra since it has a real tweet account and it has 99 tweets about being obcessed with the crown and memory loss when she is obcessed with it. It also tells the ending of the MV, a truck with a crown on the back and Sasha's car following it. It happened with ymenehcra as well but she was on foot, so she could snap out of it when a car almost hit her. The last thing we know about ymenehcra is that she is going to an interview and never returned. We see the interview in Dreamcatcher's fisical album VillainS.
Well, the girls are after the sacrifices to form a perfect crown. It has to be 100 sacrifices for the crown to be complete and the one who wears it gains fame, money, power and everything they want. And ymenehcra was sacrifice 99 and Sasha sacrifice 100.
And the order of their music:
    Nightmare Arc:
    1. Chase Me
    2. Goodnight
    3. Fly High
    4. You and I
    5. What
    6. Piri
    Deja Vu:
    7. Deja Vu
    Dystopia Trilogy:
    8. Scream
    9. Boca
    10. Odd Eye
    Summer Holiday:
    11. BEcause
    Apocalypse Trilogy:
    12. Maison
    13. Vision
    14. BONVOYAGE
    VersuS:
    15. OOTD
    16. Justice (the comeback on the 10th)
Oh, and I think that reacting to MV and the dance is really nice because dreamcatcher's MV are story related so we don't fully see the incredible dancers they are!

OOTD is a very very complex M/V and title track. It is not the traditional Dreamcatcher soundscape as explained below. It is a powerful satire that mocks the industry. Analogy I would say is NXDE by IDLE. Anyway, here is some context to better understand:
OOTD (Outfit of the Day) has at least three layers - Superficial, Satirical and Story layer. The first is the most obvious which is the self-empowering, confidence boosting "we are beautiful, successful, rich and famous" kind of message. JiU calls herself Venus, a goddess and being literally "drop dead gorgeous" at the end.. And it is just soo over the top :D But the thing is they deserve it and could actually do it, but it is just not them.
On a satirical layer this song is a huge middlefinger to the music industry in general and the superficial beauty where everything is all about the looks, everything staged and edited. The soundscape and parts of the M/V mimic generic girl crush concept sounds (what you do not really hear in the other 70+ songs Dreamcatcher has) and the M/V redraw parts of other M/Vs. Posing with cool Cars and Motorcycles (Siyeon - Sua), doing commercial and product placement (Gahyeon), just posing looking fabulous with high fashion (Handong and JiU wearing Dior), making fake drama for more views (Yoohyeon) etc. The rap section is told from the perspective of an idol how many of them act after getting some fame. And for all the previous pictures they empathize that those are fake, and show how they actually look from behind the scene. Handong with the bruises, JiU like a boxed product, the Yoohyeon drama that ends right after the cut and the behind the scene footage and rendering shots for the other three. They also incorporate really short cuts to ensure we do not take them seriously, like the face Handong makes, Yoohyeon burst into a laughter throughout the final chorus, Siyeon laughing etc. Also the "Look at my necklace" (that she is not wearing), "look at my black dress" while wearing street fashion... Now for this satirical layer they had to adjust a bit their delivery and this is what makes this track different and this is why many who love the Dreamcatcher signature sound complain. First they wanted to not just look but to sound a bit like a traditional K-Pop girl crush song. And those filters and distortions and tuning that make a not so great singer sound good actually take a bit away from parts as we can hear their natural voice less as normally they do not use it since they are such great singers and do not need it... Also they deliberately used lifeless robotic delivery through the "OOTD this my fashion shut up no more question", like OOTD is the only thing that matters, they have no opinion about anything else, do not ask them about anything else as this is the robotic answer you get. In the final chorus they are almost laughing while singing to highlight the sarcasm. Also the overly playful mocking tone of the "I am only doing better". All in all ppl complaining about why the track is different most probably miss this layer.
And finally there is the story layer where OOTD is the 1st part of a duology. Dreamcatcher members here are the villains who lure poor Shasha (the protagonist of the video, working as a video editor or graphical artist) into some kind of an augmented reality experience looking for the "crown" (aka fame, success whatever). The analogy I think is the follow the white rabbit from Matrix (along with many other Matrix style references throughout the M/V). And to appeal to Shasha they play the role of being great and rich and successful aligning with the narcissisms of the satirical layer. The story starts when Sasha searches for Dreamcatcher videos and stumbles upon the mysterious Dreamchat where Archenemy (spelled backwards, the 99th victim of Dreamcatcher) tells her about the power of the crown that she should be looking for luring her into this VR game. She follows the crown (drawn at the back of the truck) and at the end finds it but falls a victim of Dreamcatcher becoming the 100th sacrifice hence completing the crown. JiU even refers herself as Nephthys who is actually the goddess of death, decay, and darkness, mother of Anubis and Shasha falls when JiU "places the crown" on her head. This lore is not in the video, there were some external clues to put together this part.

    dreamcatcher \:D/
ootd is satire targeting the superficial nature of today's culture. a lot of the lyrics are flexing but everyone is being made up and photoshopped. it's also their most 'kpop' sounding title track so it could also be taking a shot at kpop and how there's an over-emphasis on appearance. other songs on the same album have a theme of beauty being dangerous.
most dreamcatcher albums are mini-albums so there's only 4 songs. maybe a good way to go about it is to check out all their title tracks first, then go back in chronological order and do the b-sides for each album. that way when you go back, you will only need to check out 3 b-sides for each album so the reaction won't be too long. there are a couple full albums you could split up into 2 videos, and the first 2 albums are eps so only 1 b-side each(emotion+lullaby can just be put together to cover the chase me/good night eps).

People are usually referring to the whole album! DC does a lot of special clips and you can usually find good live performances too, but for those there aren’t performances, we’ve got some dedicated Somnies who always post lyric videos!
And, aside from The Tree of Language and Apocalypse: Save Us, all the albums are mini albums, so only 4-5 songs. Villains for example has five tracks: Intro (always listen to the intro, they’re short instrumental tracks where the producers show their stuff), OOTD, Shatter (performance video), Rising (showcase live), We Are Young (lyric video)
Here’s the title track list for you, along with the album names and storyline notes
    **Nightmare Series** (Debut-2019)
    Chase Me-Nighmare (debut)
Good Night-Fall Asleep in the Mirror
Fly High-Prequel (set as a prequel to Chase Me)
You and I-Escape the Era (continues after Good Night)
    What-Alone in the City
    Piri-The End of Nightmare
Bonus: Breaking Out-The Beginning of the End (Japanese debut, extended ending to Nightmare series)
    **Dystopia Series** (2020-2021)
This series carries social criticism against cyber bullying and follows Dreamcatcher as goddesses trying to create a Utopia on earth
Scream-The Tree of Language (first full album)
    Boca-Lose Myself
    Odd Eye-Road to Utopia
*Note: Handong doesn’t appear in the first two parts of this trilogy because she was in China participating in an idol competition show and later could not travel back due to Covid restrictions
    **Apocalypse trilogy** (2022-2023)
This trilogy takes aim at environmental issues
Maison-Apocalypse: Save Us (second full album, features member solos; first win!!)
    Vision-Apocalypse: Follow Us
Bon Voyage-Apocalypse: From Us (second win!)
    **VillainS duology** (2023-current)
The first part of this dualogy harshly criticizes the fakeness and superficiality of social media, but on another level it is also the story of an “evil” alternate reality Dreamcatcher, fashion models for the mysterious C Company, who are obsessed with gathering 100 victims to sacrifice for a magical crown. The promo for this duology included an online ARG that followed Ymenhcra and Sasha, who became the 100th victims-shes who we see fall at the end of OOTD
    OOTD-Versus VillainS
    Justice-Virtuous (release: July 10th)
    **Stand Alones and Singles**
    Deja Vu-Raid of Dream
    Endless Night (second Japanese release)
    R.O.S.E Blue
    Eclipse-Eclipse (anime opening)
BEcause-Summer Holiday (inspired by the horror movie Us)
*Note: Endless Night and RoSE Blue took place during the Dystopia trilogy, so Handong isn’t there
    **Fan Songs**
    Full Moon
    Over the Sky
    Reason

    Here
    There are currently 4 storylines:
Note* Storylines are for their title tracks only.
The 4th storyline is still ongoing:
    *NIGHTMARE* Series
    - DC are cursed by a spider who was killed by one of them & became 7 Nightmares personifications, after which they try to escape (knowing the Dreamcatcher lore as a start would be good)
    *DYSTOPIA* Trilogy
    - About social/online bullying/toxicity...DC are guardian spirits of The Tree of Language who were awoken by the world's social/online toxicity, by which they retaliate and seek to achieve Utopia.
    *Apocalypse* Trilogy
    - The end of times with Chaos & Carnage in the Dusk. It contains the message of Dreamcatcher, who dreams of taking a leap forward in a better direction for everyone in a dizzying world.
Note** Feel free to conclude your own theories, as the storylines have many interpretations from the fandom.
I've listed their main title/single tracks released chronologically from debut to help you:
    NIGHTMARE SERIES :
    -Chase Me (Debut) (2017)
-Goodnight (immediate continuation from Chase Me)
-Fly high (Prequel to Chase Me)
-You & I (strong connection from Fly High)
-What (Still trapped in the Nightmare in a different setting)
-Piri (it's a flute which JiU used to warn the rest about the danger they're in) (2019)
DYSTOPIA TRILOGY: (take note of the Tree, which reflects the phases for each MV)
    -Scream (2020)
    -Boca ('Mouth' in Spanish)
    -Odd Eye (2021)
**Only for SCREAM & BOCA era, 1 member, Handong, wasn't with them as she was in China, participating a show, Youth With You, and various schedules. Supposed to comeback for Boca but was stuck there due to the Pandemic.
    COLLABORATION WITH MOBILE GAME COMPANIES:
    -Deja vu (Game: King's Raid)
-R.o.S.E Blue (Game: Girl Gun Cafe)
    ANNIVERSARY SINGLES dedicated to InSomnias:
    -Full Moon

    -Endless Night
    -No More
-Eclipse (King's Raid anime 2nd Opening OST)
    Summer Holiday Special EP:
    -BEcause (About Obsessive love)
    Apocalypse Trilogy:
    -Maison (2022)
    -Vision
    -Bon Voyage
    -OOTD (latest) (2023)

2:23 I think people reffer to the whole album, some people do their reactions to the whole album with the lyric videos for those that don't have a video
5:23 That's Dami (Main Rapper, Lead dancer) 5:28 That's Yoohyeon (Lead vocalist), but Dami can also sing. Don't worry too much about the names for now, eventually you'll get them right. The red hair is Siyeon and the blue haired is Yoohyeon.
About the MV: It may appear a confident booster / bragging song, but if you pay attention to the rap part Dami says "Tell me do you feel like a monster" and in the video we see that it's all acting. The concept is basically a critic to all the superficiality of people and how everyone shows how "good" they look, how expensive is that thing that they bought, etc,...
Additionally, there is a storyline presented outside the MV, this storyline (long story short) talks about a crown that will "give you everything" if you get it, so everyone starts fighting for the crown doing the unthinkable to get it. But also the crown seems to have an influence on people's behaviour, making them spend money on things to look worthy of the crown, harming other people, and it's almost controlling people's minds. That seems to be a metaphor that could be translated as stepping on others and even pretend to be something you are not in order to get a higher status.

Most dreamcatcher albums are only mini albums with 3-6 songs. Only one will have an official mysic video, buy others sometimes have performance/dance videos and others will be "special clips". I definitely would have been referring to whole albums.

    -Pink - Gahyeon
    Blue - Yoohyeon
    Blonde - Handong
    Red - Siyeon

Siyeon (red) is the main singer and the one with tattoos. JiU (black) and Yoohyeon (blue) are the lead singers. Everyone else is a vocalist too - we call them a group of 7 vocalists. SuA and Gahyeon are also in the rap line, but Dami is the main rapper. SuA is the main dancer, and JiU and Dami are lead dancers. They're all pretty good baseline dancers at this point too, some definitely improved during the course of dreamcatcher.

If you have the time, I do think it's absolutely worth it go take a listen through all their albums. Their entire discography is top tier, and you get to see them explore a bunch of different genres and sounds in their B-sides. To date, I think they have 80+ songs and I genuinely only feel meh about 2 of them
OOTD really divided fans, but it's a reminder that Dreamcatcher isn't just build upon incorporating rock elements into their songs but also trying different things and exploring different sounds. Dreamcatcher was literally conceived by taking a risk and doing something unconventional in 2017

It's okay to mistake members. I remember at the beginning everyone was confused about Siyeon - Sua & Jiu - Yoohyeon, later on people were confused about Yoohyeon - Handong :D

During the BEcause era, both Han Dong's and Yoohyeon's Moms were confused and mixed them up. lol

You can do the B-sides on the albums too. They're all fire but they do a few different music styles in them. So here's an idea. Do title track reaction including dance practice and relays (relays are pretty funny), then make the next reaction the B-sides for that album with color coded lyrics. I've seen other reactors do it like that and I personally think it works well because you get all the songs in that album before moving on. Plus the color coded B-sides with lyrics help you remember each member better. The lyrics aren't always 100% accurate but pretty close.

You got Siyeon right but the one with the blue hair wasn't who mixed her up with last time, that was Yoohyeon. Last video, you mixed Siyeon up with SuA, who has black hair in OOTD.

Yup. SuA was on the motorcycle in the beginning of the MV and she was also in the elevator later (she had the lip ring).

I recommenf checking out the live radio performances of Propose and the showcase version of rising before getting into the other titles. There are a lot of title tracks to get through and Rising and Propose are masterpieces.

Since the group has incredibly strong vocals from even the non vocal members Siyeon often gets ver little opportunity to show off her versatality so i highly recommend Siyeon's Betelgeuse cover (it got her an offer to rerecord the biggest song of 2020 by the original lyricist it was that good) and her yb medley (which got her noticed by the original singer).
Same with Dami who gets pushed into just rap sections in title tracks her dessert cover and beyond love covers are her exploring her versatility.
Also they have an semi official subunit together for the show dark hole and did the ost called Shadow and a second slow version of Shadow.

All of their albums in release order. In addition to MVs, many B-sides have Special Clips which are like lower budget MVs.
