On April 15, 2024, a significant milestone was reached in the Waigani Precinct with the inauguration of the Melanesia Haus, now the official Seat of Papua New Guinea’s Executive Government. Prime Minister Hon. James Marape led the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking a new era for the nation's governance.
