Appreciate the video. I’m not a pilot but enjoy watching. I loaded bombs in the Airforce back in 1977 thru 1981, but got to fly in C130’s and H3, H53, and Huey helicopters. Thanks much for sharing!
I don’t know why I had seen any of your videos. I just found it because I wanted to watch a video about the phenom 100 😂😂 I just hit that follow button
I see you are using the ice cooler on the way back in the Cirrus. What brand is it and does it truly keep the cabin temp at a nice temp in 90 degree weather? I tried one earlier and found it to make cool air but do nothing to really keep temp down.
It works really well. It’s the B-Kool cooler and yes, I’d say it drops the temp a good 15-20 degrees. Downside is you have to wire the plane with a 24v outlet and deal with procuring ice. I am going to be working on a complete review of it very soon.
Non pilot here and a huge fan of Brian. I have a question. Do y’all think it is worth an upgrade from the 100E to 100EV based on the difference between the g1000!and g3000? Thanks in advance
That’s a good question. The 100E is pretty heavy because it has a bunch of silly options and heavier interior appointments. The EV from what I understand is either a little lighter or possibly has a higher MGTOW effectively giving more useful load. But is a G3000 worth that much more than a G1000….? Definitely not a G1000 NXI like the one that is in this video. Phenom 300… DEFINITELY!
Ooooooh. Good question. The HondaJet is a much better performer than the Phenom but frankly I think I’d rather own the Phenom. Certainly for what my mission is. And it’s lower operating costs.
It used to be my favorite if it has to be a minibus style jet. I don't at all subscribe to the nonsense that it has to be a 300. But then I found out that the Eclipse is half the weight of the Phenom and much better fuel economy. And a beautiful fast twin jet could be halved in weight again if done in single piece carbon fiber. So many missed opportunities. Everybody is doing it wrong.
The Eclipse Jet was so unbelievably close to the perfect light jet. If they had put a Garmin cockpit in it, its fate would be entirely different. To your point, the Stratus Jet looks interesting and while it’s not a jet, the Epic E1000 does too.
@@ChaseAviation I feel a little about turboprops like I do about israel, it's not going to work going forward :) And while Eclipse is surprisingly better than anything else, pratt and whitney in their mindless greed decided to ruin it by pricing each engine at 911k. Eclipse was originally targeting a retail price of 500k for the entire plane. Eclipse should make their own engines and make the plane out of carbon fiber. As good as 550 is, it could be much better still.
Problems with takeoff weights.......gets worse obviously the more passengers And load also climb gradient at airports like Jackson Hole...no mission versatillity
You’re right. I’m an east coast guy and for the most part, we only have to contend with hot, not high. So it’s not a big issue for us. Out west, during the summer, I would not want to be heavy coming out of Aspen or Jackson Hole.
Best choice quality for small jet with matching mission ...I think should be sub Million than some...how ever torbo shafts 4million I'd rather have p100
It's less of an issue in a pressurized airplane, but it helps with ear popping... but to your point, I always get rid of it before entering turbulence.

Welcome to the party!
Thanks for taking the time to do these videos. I really enjoy them
Thanks Matt! Glad you enjoy them!
Loved yhe vibe. Subscribed.
Haha. Thanks! Yeah good vibes man!

I’m going to look your company up and see what you have to offer

He greased the landing.
Sure did!
Brian, I got ask! Personally do you prefer the phenom 100 or HondaJet?

@@ChaseAviation Thanks.
Awesome aircraft. Full-seat range would be what, 600nm ?
Depending on the actual weights of those people, maybe more like 750.
@@ChaseAviation I hate the fact that they always show 2 people range, they never show full-seat range.
Right. “As typically equipped” is how they get away with it. If you get into more serious brochures and charts the real data starts showing up.
@@ChaseAviation They are not available for curious people like me!

Cool video. Just by the way, they are chocks, not "chalks"... LOL
Yeah, the autocorrect in my video editor is a little delayed and very persistent. Plus, it doesn’t speak aviation!
