Rich, nice plane alright but it's in a strong class. PC24 is impressive with stol, rough field capable, and close performance. CJ4 looks like a good one too. Both have trailing link main gear for soft landings and airframe life. Any comments on the competition?
Great comments - my problem is I love them all! Citation 525s (all the CJs) are such great airplanes and have so many strong qualities. PC24 looks to be a very strong competitor too for the reasons you mention. Truth is you probably can’t go wrong in the light jet market. Thanks for watching and your comments!
Rich roger that. It seems like in the $10 million class they all get serious and make some pretty nice stuff. That PC24 has had a lot of thinking go into it. See the walkaround video by Eric J. and flying by planejunkies from LV. Spec sheets dont tell the whole story but if i had to make the call i think it would take awhile on a spreadsheet with all the detail. Bob. @@FlyingwithRich
@@FlyingwithRich Rich i just realized i sound like a Pilatus salesman but not at all. Just an observer impressed with capability of the PC24. But maybe i should be. haha. But you're correct, they're all good products in this class.
I’m anxious to see/fly the Pilatus - seems like it will be an excellent airplane - the unimproved runway landing/big door set it apart for sure. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to fly it - when you join their sales team give me a call!
@@FlyingwithRich Rich, i'm not sure if you've seen the video of 'dirt trail' landing /take off by Airsmart PC24 in NV . It shocked me when i saw it.
I dont necessarily think this is a great idea for biz jets but can sure come in handy if you need it. If you're ever in LV call them and ask to have a look. Chief pilot Tommy does aerobatic competitions for hobby and seems like a good guy.
I've watched a lot of your videos and love every minute of it with your insight on so many aircraft. My only gripe is with the fast forward approach, landing and taxi which I know is for the sake of brevity but I always feel cheated out of what I feel is the highlight of any flight. Keep up the good work and I'll keep watching even if at high speed in some parts! :-)
Thanks and thanks for suggestion!
Great video and details. Thanks!!
Thank you for watching and the feedback!
Great aircraft to fly on the Xplane 11 Sim to be able to experience the Phenom 300 from Aerobask....With a must have XPrealistic addon..... Spano is a great Pilot. If you want to experience the Challenger 650, X aviation came out with a simulation of it for Xplane 11. It flys like the real deal Thats why you pay over 100.00 for it and its well worth it too.
Very cool. Haven’t really done the sim like that much - mostly training in motion sims.
Caralho decola rápido pra caramba! 👏🏻
Enjoyed video! Thanks
Thanks for watching!
I know I'm a yr late on this vid but have watched many of Your vids Rich > not a pilot...always wanted... started ground w/a Buddy in the 90's who was a FI but wasn't able to complete.
What a cool gig You have > anytime You find Yourself near klvk (live 2-3 miles due West right off the runway... you've likely flown right over) would look forward to sayin hi & checkin out whatever You happen to flyin.
Thanks for the fantastic content 👍
Thank you. I’m in that area frequently. Send me your e-mail and I’ll try to connect with you sometime.
Good video. Thanks!
Great video
Thanks.
12:47 Near dog strike at take off! :o)
You are only the second person to comment on that - only time I have ever seen that! Thanks for watching!
@@FlyingwithRich You're welcome! Maybe people are so scared, so that they can't move, for commenting on that! :)
I heard from an engineer that works on Phenom 300/100 that the newer Phenoms built in Melbourne, FL are not built as well/have design flaws specifically with the tail section. Just curious to know if you've heard of those and any other common faults with this type that you could share? cheers
@Gregory Ho what design flaw? Surely it is the same design? (So if anything it would be a construction flaw.)
what ratings and licenses do you need to fly single pilot jets with the g3000 and all?
IFR, Multi... and that's about it if it's your own!
Das Flugzeug gefällt mir.Ich nehme eins...
Beautiful plane
Thanks for watching!
I flew out of Bakersfield Municipal airport during my private back in 2005
Only place I have ever been ramp checked - Bakersfield Muni! Thanks for watching.
Rich I see there is a video on PC24 vs P300e now.
Didn’t see that. I’ll check it out. Thanks.
Love this video
Thanks for watching.
A fuse tank or an APU would make this plane the ultimate!
an APU would kill almost it's entire full fuel payload even more.
Ok, I think you will like this one !!!
This guy likes the sound of his voice
👍
Heck Rich, I don’t even know you and I’m proud of you too ! Do a Mooney video (my bird) 😎
Love to do a Mooney - love those airplanes!
Do the 100 and 300 have different braking systems? Because I heard that the 100's brakes are everything but not great.
Early 100s had brake issues for sure - I think they worked the problems out on the 100s. I was aware of limited issues on the 300s but our experience has been great. It’s a true brake-by-wire system so takes some getting used to.
Fenno Embraer. Jatinho para o mundo
Rich if I had the $$$ you would be my go to guy enjoy your videos.
I would have been interested in knowing why the Caravan and Mustang were insufficient with regards to his business needs.
Mostly need to move up in performance (speed and longer range capability), however some of the purpose for the Caravan and Mustang were to build pilot experience. Thanks for watching.
Keep it up!
Thanks for watching!
Nice brazilian company.
