Vinegar and olive oil are definitely more common than lemon juice, it still works though, what doesn't work in Italy is grating pecorino on salad and mixing salad and pasta in a single dish, you're gonna mix the seasonings and the tastes, that's something nobody would do here especially with a main course of pasta, we might put salad/vegetables in a single dish with a second course of meat and fish maybe, still separating them, she's literally throwing salad into the pasta.

Poor Kim, I was sobbing watching her signing the papers. I can't imagine how hard it was for her.
I subscribed because you always say the directions and measurements
Just some salt and fresh lemon juice is such a common Italian approach for salad and it’s absolutely divine. Simplicity for the win.
@@Awf00L Damn pasta with a side of salad on the same plate are literally the most common dish where I'm from. Ain't no way people got time to be separating the meal up like that when all those dishes gotta get washed by hand. I can't imagine washing twenty dishes just because the salad can't be served on the same plate as the pasta.

Basically homemade Hamburger Helper. Probably tastes better!

Wow! Delicious! Can you share the link to the recipe please?
Only seen the beginning and that is my favourite pasta type ever 👍
What is it🤷🏽♀️
@@donnalevel8070 it's on the packet she shows you - cappelletti also known as messicani. I assume you mean type of pasta not the dish as my comment said pasta not pasta dish 😂
@@SweetSassyBull Thank you 😊 yes I’ve never seen that particular type of pasta
Yeah... That's just a fancier version of military-style macaroni, that's a staple on post Soviet territories.
Usually it's just pasta with ground or canned meat of any kind and the cheap veggies that were easy to get your hands on, like carrots and onions.
I've pulled myself through uni on this stuff
The soviet military-style macaroni dish was created as poor man's bolognese, so yeah.
On the more important note, quit smashing dozens of countries with different cultures from different parts of the world into a homogeneous mass called "post-soviet territories".
The occupation ended three decades ago, most of them have kept evolving their separate ways.
@@singularm5923 that's literally just a term that describes the territories and people, who went through the decades of shared suffering, despite having completely different origins, there's not really a substitute for it. If there is, let me know, I'll be happy to use it instead.
@@singularm5923My woke Ukrainian professor of Eastern Euro anthropology lumps those countries into “Post-Soviets” so that’s good enough for me!
