i just picked one of these up and researching before starting the install process... gotta figure out how to make this mountable while towing... did you notice on the install instructions, the groves on the shaft is supposed to be w/in the bracket slot, not outside of the bracket... supposed to be important?

Hi, The Jockey Wheel is holding up ok. I use 20V battery from a drill to power it. I don't like it much for being very noisy, but it is a back saver for sure!
YOu probably figured it out by now but you installed the jockey wheel post incorrectly. As the round notch should go in between the slit on the bracket, hence its bending all over the place

Can you use this mover for slipping the boat into the water? f.e. when the distance between water and place for the boat is only 20m?

Mal montaje..revisa el manual...hay dos lineas..o niveles debes elegir donde debe entrar y ajustar..no en el.medio..
Worst buy ever! Do not waste your$$ we had nothing but problems with the 1st one got it replaced and had the same problem with the 2nd one.

HOW about steering in the RIGHT direction. The handle doesn´t fit to steer to tje other side. The frame is in its way.
