The first theme i remember.Goes along with the general idea that the 80's were to be a 'modern' age..lots of synths and computer graphics,a totally different look
Brian Moore was a half decent commentator. For me, he had too much London bias when doing the ITV live matches, before the Evil Empire got the FAPL rights. Understandable, since LWT were paying his wages, but commentators are meant to show some impartiality!
@nigvilla I agree with what you say Nigvilla... All I said that Brian Moore had too much London bias, which was true. Hugh Johns had too much Midlands bias, just as Elton Welsby had too much North West bias. I am only making a statement of fact. Of course you are going to cater to your audience, which is what the ITV commentators did. The BBC commentators in this era were much better anyway.
Another classic, brings back more great memories from a great football era, I'm for one glad I experienced those days.
I can't stand football, but I liked the music, and Brian Moore was peerless.
think brian left us with a smile on his face,it was the same day as we beat germany 5-1 in 2001.he was 69yrs.

classic 80's.
so the corner lines on a football pitch look like a B1 Stealth Bomber - a brilliantly imaginative connection!
