Mayor Harold Washington passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 1987 at age 65 and every channel in Chicago broke the news of his passing that day. The following Monday, November 30th, he was laid to rest. It was very, very sad.

The only WGN-TV tapes I have are from around 1987. I have two other tapes, but one is pretty damaged, and I'm not sure if there's more Bozo channel ads on them. Wish I could help more, sorry.
