Martha Wash appeared at the DC Capital Pride Festival in 2009, for a celebration by the gay community that takes place each year in front of the US Capitol building in Washington. Here, she sings the 1989 Black Box hit, "Everybody, Everybody." - เพลง

@@HaliB75bigger individuals typically have bigger heads and bigger mouths. It’s not stereotypical and bigger mouth/throat tends to be bigger voice. Like a lot of big male opera singers have big voices. It’s not the end all be all to a voice but size weight and things of this nature can and do affect singing voice.

Glad to finally see the real person who actually sings this song get recognition. If you don't know what I am referring to- when this came out, they had a model lip singing it, didn't ever have her on the stage live or in the music video.
They did Martha way worse than not including her in the video, they stole her vocal and didn’t pay royalties or credit her on the track. They got her vocal because she was hired to do a demo. They took her vocal from the demo and used it on the actual track. Martha found out about what they did when she heard the song playing on the radio. She sued and ultimately got credited as the vocalist on the Black Box tracks, as well as C&C Music Factory tracks that also did Martha wrong, and collected royalties. Martha’s suit spurred new law that requires the actual vocalist in a track to be credited and paid royalties. Black Box and C&C Music Factory were both versions of Millie Vanilli.

De hecho, la modelo es un travesti. Espectacular como imagen, pero sin voz. Imposible no hacer la analogía con milli vanilli. La unica diferencia es que black box nunca ocultó que la que cantaba no era la que salia bailando en sus shows.

Black Box foi lançado nos anos 90 , o álbum de sucesso dreamland teve os vocais da Martha wash e so uma música com os vocais da Loleatta Holloway , a moça nos vídeos do Black Box só dublava e não cantava , a Martha ganhou os direitos dela e por isso até hoje pode cantar as músicas nos shows porque os vocais são dela .

Until the Martha Wash Milli Vanilli scandals hit it was pretty common that they used the demo performers vocals on albums without giving them any credit. As long as they give the person credit and pay them then who really cares, but otherwise it’s stealing the persons vocal identity.
Martha took ‘em to court and as a direct result the law was changed for artists , to protect them from the corporate factory they call a music industry . RESULT ✊🏼
Both Martha wash and lolita Holloway did all the vocals on black box and c and c music factory and didn't get credit for any of it they sued and won
