I actually prefer the Black Box version better (despite whether or not Katrin was actually the one singing the track or not). Martha Wash was definitely a legend back then but I still like Katrin as well.

I am so eternally grateful to have met the woman in person and she is just as sweet and adorable, yet a phierce and bonafide old skool vocalist. She is made from the same cloth as Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand in that she can pitch each note the perfect way she wants to. She can make the most basic and stripped back baseline sound like a rich banquet. Her voice is like her curves: one big and rich buffet, that makes your ears water!!
