agreed, i was just looking at the models and comparing them to what is out there today, these models look great, they look like real women, not some anorexic 13 year old looking famished as she walks.
Some of these pieces are timeless! The big shoulder pads was the thing in the 1980’s and most of my blazer came with huge shoulder pads. I have been a fan of the swing dress for years and had three back in 2006. I just loves 1980’s hair, so huge, full and with massive curl and body, some of these designers I have never heard of and some aren’t doing much on the runways anymore.
I like to see more fashions on the runway from the year of 1980 ,1981,1982,1983 ,1984 upload on TH-cam could someone please upload the years of these runway fashion I fully appreciate if you would thank you
I'm sad that it took so long for me to find this channel, but I'm just bowling over with gratitude that I found it. Thank you for preserving these clips! ❤ My older sister introduced me to the world of fashion and fashion shows in the late 1980s. I would watch programs like these with her on the weekends when I was just a little girl, and we would dream about what it would be like to be beautiful models in Paris(we were just two blue-collar girls in Detroit). Between the dreamy clothes and the perfect music in the background, it's the closest thing to finding a time machine and going back to my favorite era. People can mock the fashion of the 1980s all they want, but I see so many classic pieces and timeless looks here. I frequently sport some of these looks, or at least a slightly more modern variation, and get nothing but compliments. I think too many people focus on the worst or most outrageous parts of a few, very limited number of 1980s fashion trends. The basic foundations of 80s fashion and timeless styles are frequently overlooked because too much nostalgia-based content is based on a shock-value style of humor instead of genuinely trying to document the era.
One of the things I loved most about Gianfranco Ferre was that he hated trends. He was all about timelessness. Sadly, he was taken from us way too soon. I like to believe that there is a special place in Heaven for a person with his style & artistry.
Sounds Brazilian I don't even know that song, the 80's and music is my era. Just when you thought you know all the music.... nope you don't. Shame that's a good tune.
That song plus the music playing during Gianfranco Ferre's show both had me frantically trying to find the artists, but I haven't been able to find anything yet. 😢 80s music is the best.
can someone help to find the song played from 0.50 to 1.59 on the KL show! i can recognize only one phrase - "...you're the only one in to my dreams...", because of that (sometimes) annoying report commentary.
THIS COULD BE USED IN FASHION TODAY. tHE MODELS DANCED ON THE RUNWAYS TO THE HIP MUSIC AND THEY HAD NO WIAST UNLIKE THE MODELS OF THE WALKING DEAD TODAY.
Not a fan of the runways in the 80's and early 90's. The models are all over the place, dancing, twirling etc. it's all a bit corny and amateurish. I prefer the shows now. Very organized and professional.
Some runways shows today have their models dancing like Kenzo or Antonio Marras. It actually depends on the brand's attitude and esthetics and that was the taste of fashion during those times.
I'm completely immersed watching this! The immense elegance of the 80s is truly timeless. ✨✨✨
The models back then looked way better , 80s fashions are awesome !

Gianfranco Ferre's line could be used all today! 32 years later!
One of the things I loved most about Gianfranco Ferre was that he hated trends. He was all about timelessness. Sadly, he was taken from us way too soon. I like to believe that there is a special place in Heaven for a person with his style & artistry.

Justin Hopkins you have bad taste
Justin Hopkins then have fun with those twiddle stick's
What ridiculous taste

He got a point ??
