People who say this console isn't portable are just silly... of course it is. Just because you can't fit it inside your pocket, doesn't make it non-portable. That's like saying a Laptop isn't portable... of course it is. You can bring this anywhere with you, keeping it in a backpack or messenger bag. Play it on the bus, or when you're waiting at an airport. Not to mention the ability of playing multiplayer with a friend when you're out somewhere. Can you do that with your Wii U, Xbox One or PS4? Nope.. because those aren't portable.

The flower is a "rare" flower that is called the "Silent Princess." What the sword/flower is showing/saying is that Link (The Sword) will protect Zelda (The Silent Princess flower ) even after death

fun fact: When you cook the flower it grants a mid level stealth boost and multiple hearts depending on how many you cook (Maximum is 5) I cooked 2 and it gave me 4 hearts and 2 ♒♒ (stealth) bars that lasts for 4 mins.

I'm the luckiest man on earth, got my switch at a Walmart in Calgary without a pre-order, then I found a master edition that someone pre-ordered at ebgames then decided not to buy.
So happy you opened yours cause I chickened out at opening mine. AND YES YOU NEED BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!! The special edition box is and the artwork is insane

I think it's really unfair for all the Zelda fans . I don't think Nintendo is to blame but the retailers are. Here in Australia mightyape and jbhifi the two biggest limited the special edition to only 1 per customer. I mean you can still somehow get around that but not sure how difficult that would have been.

I have a Special Edition, didn't feel like the sword statue justified the increased cost. Maybe I'll pick it up on the aftermarket one day against my wallet's wishes. Special Edition box is yuuuuuuuuge enough as is! :P

I don't know if you know this but your actual game case is different than the store copies. The art work on the back with the guardian is only for the special editions. Nice little touch to display instead of just the standard back with all the labels and warnings.

in europe we did not get the master editon only the limited edtion, but o well at least we got something :) im happy with the statue.

European version of re7 was weak also...didn't come with the game!lol and what it did come with was low quality.. I wonder why that is
I love the Case for the switch, the Disc, and the map
I couldn't get the Master Edition because it sold out really fast. However, I did get a Special Edition from Amazon and it's on route as we speak! It doesn't have the Master Sword but the rest of the goodies are there. I'm satisfied with that and maybe down the road I'll see if I can find someone selling the Master Sword item.

There is a 100$ version of the case? The limited edition is 130$ american and it comes with everything shown in this video besides the sword statue.
I actually got that shiekah slate switch case. And i totally recommend it, the materiel is great and its extremely compatible. I use it a lot.

I ordered this edition (uk) because of the included zelda case. However all it came with was the sword statue and soundtrack. 2 things I didn't really want. Did something go wrong with some editions? I ordered what was shown but didn't get a case.

How are you going to listen to the soundtrack if you don't open it? Like, soundtracks are the only collectible that should be opened.

I was fortunate to land a pre-order. I can't find one for the Tears of the Kingdom yet though
i just got the switch and i had o go to an ideal home thingy (in London GB) so i bought the switch with me and my cousin came with me so we played 1-2 switch. I'm not saying it's not portable but if your going to bring it with you you have to have a wide table to put the switch on because when i did it i had a small table and it fell of so it is portable
P.S don't worry the switch is fine!

Wario It is the Shiekah symbol. The lens of truth was a Shiekah artifact. There are many items and characters throughout the games bearing the symbol.

Mr S I totally doubt they will be for $20 on eBay in a couple of years. On less you meant for $2,000 lol the production for the case, map/tapestry, coin and especially the Sword Figurine is very limited and they will not create any more of them.
Mr. S you underestimate nintendo tax. Most of the cheap collectors editions you see are for games no one really cares about anymore.

I seriously doubt they care about saving trees. I opened a DQ8 for 3ds yesterday and it came with a warranty booklet, a fold-out catalogue of available eshop games, and most tellingly, a printed instruction booklet on how to view the electronic manual.
My switch bundle arrives Wednesday! I'm so excited can't wait to play Breath of The Wild!!!

Nap Apparently, Nintendo didn't want little ones putting the cartridges in their mouths, so they put a NASTY substance on the outside making it taste God awful.
Jeff from Giant Bomb put one in his mouth, talked about it on twitter, & it just spread like wildfire.
nintendo's all about being child friendly and parental block, so they went so far as to coat the games so kids won't eat them. and we wander why parents dont know how to parent children anymore...cus people like nintendo do it for them

I got an edition that didn’t have the sheikah case or the map or coin it’s just the statue, game and a different styled artwork box of the soundtrack

I got the EU Limited Edition, we got the same statue, cd with different artwork and a differnt outerbox art. No case, coin or map though. I don't mind to much as the outerbox of our edition looks great. Enjoy Breath Of The Wild Lithium!
If you want a better capsule to put you Zelda coin in you should call or look up air-tite holders Inc North Adams Massachusetts. They make some good clean durable coin capsules to protect it with. And it better then that cheap capsule the coins in now

I need help please!!!.. so I got my master sword statue 3 days ago but the paint on the stone has like small popped bubbles on different spots and then on the back it's like a thicker coat of paint that doesn't match the rest of the stone replica.. should I contact Nintendo support or something?. :(

Someone told me they were "quietly" doing away with manuals during mid Wii U era here. I do know for sure that SM3DW, Pikmin 3 (first print) and Mario Kart 8 all have manuals though.
If you guys really want to keep your switch screen from get smudge marks and scratches what I do is I get one of my shirts and just wrap it around it so it doesn't like rub on anything
