@@Padraigp well Atlanta is a hub of rap, civil rights activism, artists in general, and less than 90 minutes south Macon is where Otis Redding, the Allman Brothers, and other greats come from. It's also just kind of non-white/working class Southern culture here in GA, Tennessee, and South Carolina. In other words, I totally get what you mean but after thinking for a moment realized I hadn't really noticed how Georgia & to some extent those other two states (at least where they border us) just produce this kind of rhythmic tone. In the modern era, you can live off the grid with privacy, be spied on in society by government security cameras, or be spied on in society by private sector technology (e.g., your smart phone listening to you talk and showing you related ads). I know that the government CCTV in the UK can be abused to invade people's privacy but at least they have the potential to protect people by deterring or helping to solve crimes. I'm always being spied on by my phone here in the US, but there's still a lot of street corners where I could mugged with no witnesses.
I was surprised when Paul Merton interrupted Joanna Scanlon with his "No, no, no, no". As the dialogue developed before us, it was difficult to see why Paul's answer was preferable to Joanna's. Had he graciously allowed her to complete her thought, who knows what might have happened. Not us. (I am a fan of Paul Merton.)
i hate how Reg fakes his accent to sound stereo-typically black american. When you see him in other stuff where hes not pretending to be ghetto, hes so much more funny.
"From this day forward, this will never go into a salad.🥒" That really sounds ghetto to you? Lol Hope you aren't religious as I know your religion says something like "judge not lest ye be judged" 🤣🤣🤣

Reginald has not always been that good. Seems out of place with British Comedians. But He got this one, fantastic performance, something to do with Jo being at so much ease. Great episode, highly recommended.
Damn dude I don’t know he’s always been pretty hot. When he first got the UK and started appearing on some shows he was a little more timid but anytime he spoke up he was usually funny. But I know what you mean I have seen a few where he didn’t say much and when he did everybody was quiet. But I was still usually laughing my ass off. He’s from Atlanta only a few miles from my hometown, so sometimes the funniest thing is watching how the folks in the UK are bewildered by some of his comments 😂
Who would think I'd be sitting here watching a news show from eleven years ago and laughing my butt off?
Love Jo and Reg together.
It's adorable! Watching this ep for the first time in 2023.
Always love to see Reggie. He’s from Atlanta just a few miles from my hometown. I know that accent anywhere and he’s such a class act. Just hilarious
That little "Yes, ma'am" he gave to Joe was peak US Southern
l! Is he actually a comedian or a beat poet i always got a Beatnick vibe fron him...is his hometown a beatnic place?

@sempressfi omg what an awesome reply! This makes perfect sense with how I saw him! Everyone becomes irish when they're drunk tho! 😆
Thanks, BH. Any episode with Reginald is a lot of fun to watch.
Jo and Reg have a chemistry that is magical. 🤣🤣🤣 This has been a hilarious episode 🤣
I've always liked Jo and Reginald because they're so funny, but together! Pure comedic gold!
Reginald and Jo really play well off each other and then add in Paul...even better. I really liked when Reginald said that they weren't going to win!
I also love Reginald. This is my favorite cast. Also love Jo's Glasses
her glasses 😂 still think so?
So enjoyable.
Love Jo Brand
Thanks for posting.
Reggi for leader of earth or some shit
The Great Bambino would be Babe Ruth, the baseball legend.
Jo brand is great I love it that she has a bafta
Shrek's fro and oversized wool coat are such a look
Reg the Barry White of panel games.
Jo looked great!
.Thanks
I'm guessing.....I've done something.......good?, it's so unlike me. but anyway.
Thanks Bowman you've made my day, again.

8:57 That's really creepy how there are cameras on every corner watching people Big Brother style.

Yes, it’s tough for criminals and the perpetually inebriated.
You know your smartphone takes care of that, right?

Genius
Why are the three 'hypnotized' people in the picture different to the three people on the stage?
Say what you like about Prince Phillip, but he always had the quip and people loved him for it!
How did Ian and Joanna lose with all of the correct answers Joanna gave?
Reg and Paul were on fire.
It's traditional.

A southern accent isn’t ghetto, you thicko. Ghettoes were in Harlem and Chicago. Get informed before you post.
