I LOVE JAPANEESE TEXTILE DESIGNS. THEY ARE SO VIBRANT IN COLOR. WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. I CAN SEE A BEAUTIFUL KIMONO WITH THE RED FABRIC.

That’s exactly what I was thinking for the red fabric!!

Thank you for binge watching so many of my videos @craigharlow2271. I love the fabrics too. I need to stop looking at them on the bolts and figure out what I’m going to make with them 😍

It is fascinating to me how much more you see in a fabric than I do. Where did you learn all about Japanese fabrics? Was the Shiburi (sp?) technique all those teeny white circles?

Lee told me a lot about Japanese fabrics when I was shopping at Leo9. I did the research on the motifs and their meanings because she didn’t remember the specifics. It only makes me love them more ❤️ yes the white circles are shibori.

What shirt pattern did you use for the jacket you were wearing? I love the fabric and the shirt pattern.

Thank you! It’s McCalls 8220. I have other videos showing how I made the shirt if you’re interested 😉
