One thing I learned about these mops is that the cable connecting the button to the dispenser can/will disconnect if/when the mop is dropped. We have 5 pulse mops on the go and this has been a common thing. Luckilly, in most cases, the cable tip will remain in the button and will be very easy to place back where it belongs, though I'm thinking Rubbermaid would be better off making a lock mechanism for the cable bead rather than the open slit design.
BTW. the trigger comes off by unscrewing the top screw and popping off the button. At which point, the plastic handle cover will slip off to reveal the cable/button assembly. This will also reveal some of the inner core mechanism which could potentially be removed for deeper repair.
The disinfectant/floor cleaner your talking about has a ph level that will break down most adhesives over time. Granted there are better adhesives that can withstand it though I don't think they fall into the flexible products which would be needed for the current blabber system. That being said, I'm thinking Rubbermaid could design a rigid solution container to overcome this. Having said all that, based on feedback, I'm thinking this system is well worth putting in the R&D to make it better.
I have a few question that i really need opinions on. First, do u have to buy many micro Fib? so you wont leave a smooch on the floor? how would it work on that since you dont have the bucket to clean the micro fib? If you do replace the micro every few Sq can you give me an estimate on how many sq until u have to change it?
It really depends on how dirty the floor is. These type of cleaning systems are fine under normal conditions, though if your floors are very dirty(such as in winter), they will not do very well. However, if you're cleaning conventional floors, then you will find that a pad can easily last a fair size room such as a classroom etc.
