I love GWT it is a great game. NZ and Argentina are cool too but, I always default back to the original (now using the 2nd ed version) and its expansion. Great video and review! thanks guys!

We have GWT New Zealand and have fun with it. You're descriptions of each was helpful. I'm still not sure there's enough of a difference to purchase the other ones. Maybe I'll change my mind some day.

Thank you! None is particularly better or worse at two IMO, as they don't really have too much interactivity. So you'd be fine to play whichever you like the sound of best!
I have the first 2 (second ed) but not NZ. Much as the completionist in me wants it on my shelf from you guide i dont think i *need* it so thanks 😁

Hi, firstly Exellent video covering these games. Just wondering if I have never played any of them but keen to get one. which one would you recommend if intending to mainly play two player and solo?
Honestly it's all the same when it comes to player count, so I would probably recommend starting with the original GWT!

No, it's actually been something we've been planning to do for a long time! We just had a lot of reviews we owed to get through first.
Always wonder why people do not get the theme of GWT. The theme is not bringing cows or sheep from one spot to the other. It is transforming your family driven farm or ranch or whatsoever into a national or global big player in agricultural industry. That is why exporting is relevant, that is why different sorts of animals are relevant and that's the title of the game.
It is a typical 19th century economy game that has the "great transformation" as topic (like clans of caledonia or the 18xx games too).
Probably because every blurb, description and back of the box says the former not the later. You're not wrong, but you are extrapolating a bit there. The descriptions state "you are a rancher and repeatedly herd your cattle"

It is what I said.
None of that says anything about becoming a global industry, it just says about improving your family farm and diversifying but use whatever meta you want
Wait, the title of the game is actually "Become a Global Big Player in the Agricultural Industry"?
