I’ve been a natural light photographer for almost 18 years (very part time). I’ve avoided using off camera flash because I found it confusing but you literally just explained it in a way that totally makes sense. I’ve been wanting to branch out and possibly take my hobby to the next level and it’s this kind of tutorial that will help me get there!!

Thank you for posting this! I’ve been using a canon 470ex-ai. No idea how it works lol. But with these you’re using, could I use one on the camera and others around the room as well and they all fire together? Or can I control one on the camera and others too? I would want to get these for night weddings and outdoor exits of weddings.
Yes with this model you can put one on your camera, and use that to trigger the other ones around the room. You can also control the power for the other groups individually (A, B & C) whilst having another power for the one the camera. That’s how I use them most of the time. Very versatile for the price. What do you do with the white balance and ambient incandescent lights?

Having high speed sync def matters in flashes
Not during receptions only outside my guy
@@IceMaN8o4 All depends on the situation and environment- my dude? There's definitely been reception (tents, pavilions, etc) where I wanted high speed sync. I don't know a single professional that would buy a flash without that option.
Thanks Dan, do you allways use multiples flashes in reseption ? % or also use on camera 1 Flash ? I Ask you becouse i have 3 godox + sender, but allways have just time to handle 1 on camera. Q: do you really think a couple will notice the differance if not photographers? Same set up for the party?
I use 3 or 4 off camera depending on the shape of the room and use one additional one on top of the camera to trigger them. The one on top of the camera will be used with the built in bounce card OR fired up and behind me (depending) on ceiling height and colour. Hope this helps!
