I love how during the Quiver explanation I was thinking to myself; "It would be nice if the Professor could tip to box to see if the velcro holds."
And then he obviously did just that. This is why I come back to this channel.

i use a simple tupper ware box...it is big enough to hold up to 4 60 card decks, the snap seal lock will NEVER flip open on its own, and the box is so sturdy you could throw it from a building without demaging it substancialy...and it costs around 5 €...i give the tupper box an A-...for its apearence ;-)

Good multi-review! I really appreciate how you torture tested each box under what could be seen a the worst case scenarios. A deck box's job is to protect, not be protected, so it's nice to see a review that recognizes this. Overall another solid video

I remember, about 8-9 years ago, Ultra Pro was calling the Resin towers (Black with a painted color over it, and no dice tray on them at that time) the deck vaults. I have a red one, a blue one, and a Pokeball one. They've held up great, and the only wear is a little of the paint rubbing off to actually give it a vintage look.

I have a Leifkicker box, the Dr. Who Tardis. The box is amazing holds a double sleeved commander deck, though normally I keep my current standard deck, side board and any needed tokens in it. The top of the Tadis also comes off and holds a handful of dice. I have taken it with me to a few scg opens, and every table I sit at my opponent and people around me comment on how awesome it is. Best part about it, it was a gift from my girlfriend for Christmas last year.

A bit late, but I bought a Quiver for my son and wound up getting it for one penny (a $30 price reduction doubled with a sale price for a few minutes). So I bought another one so as not to screw over the makers. We've used them for our FNM for two years, and they're still like new and working great. Something about the zippers--they seem to be water-repellent. My son left his in his car, with the windows down, and it rained. Although the Quiver was soaked, every card inside was bone dry. I wouldn't recommend dunking it in water, but for normal use, humidity, and especially rain, it's fantastic.
Also a nice bit--the lower sections (and the smaller dividers) from bundles fit nicely sideways, as well as card sleeve boxes or thin UltraPro deck boxes. And they also come with some extremely heavy plastic dividers. Using bundle box bottoms, I didn't even need to use the dividers. After a few months of using these, and several inquisitive players, about six more people at our shop wound up buying them. You rated them B++, but I'd give it a solid A. This is quite honestly the absolute best I have ever used in my 20 years of playing magic. I can't recommend them enough. The *only* gripe I have is that I wish there was a small handle attached towards the middle, but that's quite literally the only issue I have with them.

IF you want a nice tin box and don't care about artwork, pokemon has some really nice tin boxes. They have a storage area for dice, the lip is on the outside so cards don't catch. And the tin is very heavy, no worries about it bending.

I love that ratchet bomb! just looking at it you can see how solid it is. as far as what I will personally use, I think I will be going with double sleeving, legion boxes and a pelican case. I do intend on taking my magic cards on deployments for down time and us military types aren't exactly careful with luggage.

I've had a couple of satin vaults laying around for a while and with your recommendation I recently picked up a flip and tray. For a non magic player this means I use the satins for Doomtown and Call of Cthullhu and the Flip'n'Tray for Conquest. Main difference being the tray being too small for more component heavy game but only just. The reviews for both slips and boxes have been great and even the magic one are interesting on a perspective level. As a though for carrying deckboxes I use a old ammo box I picked up at an army disposal joint. coolest part is the thing is watertight and being metal is solid. I'd love to see you review one. (If I lived in the US I'd send you one.). It cost $15 Australian so about 10 or 11 dollars stateside.

Professor, could you post a "Is it worth it?" video on the premium Magic decks Wizards have came out with. There's one called Graveborn and two more, one centering around burn and the other centering around slivers. They've became pretty pricey so I wouldn't expect you too review all of them, but it would be a nice addition to your "From the Vault" and other videos of the sort. Thanks in advanced and keep up all of the great videos.

If you like the quiver, you should check out Smatree's Large SMACase for Cards Against Humanity. I needed something to organize my decks in my giant messenger bag (which doesn't really have compartments). the SMACase comfortably holds 4 standard deck boxes with space in the dividers for dice or tokens or a life counter. Its a solid case that doesn't really bend, though I wouldn't step on it, that zips up snug and has yet to "accidentally" open. Best part, its on sale on amazon for like $16.

I am considering getting the Cthulhu deck box, but I do have one minor concern. You demonstrated that the top could, in fact, separate from the bottom due to the magnetic closure. How confident are you about the security of the magnets on a scale from 1 to 10, 1 being Dex Protection and 10 being the Ratchet Bomb? Thank you so much for doing these reviews, and I absolutely love your content!

While the Grimoire isn't rated highly, I do love mine. It currently houses two Ultimate Guard Flip 'n Tray deck boxes, an abacus, and 4 of those standard Ultra Pro deck boxes. It's expensive, but I like being able to hide my cards among my books.

Someone needs to take the Dragon Egg design and bring out a new case surrounding that idea. Really wish they had stayed in business.

I actually use that exact grimoire and its wonderful, my only gripe would be price and the fact that while it can carry alot, its bulky. So much bulk.

Professor do you personally own any "premium" deck boxes from Liefkicker et al?
Personally I love the Ratchet Bomb. I think my Daretti EDH wants to be in one...the heft could be an issue though.

Hey professor! Im looking for something VERY heavy duty and capable of holding upwards of 50+ single sleeved decks. Do you know of anything that I could try?

Do you have any tips to help me expand my knowledge with magic? typically i run a mono deck with good synergy and typically aggro but i get confused and i feel that other things are to confusing and complicated... (I've been playing mtg for about a year now so i get the basics)

Professor, would it be possible for you to put your grade book on the TCC website, split up by product type, for the viewers to use as a reference?

What will you do when we run out of deck boxes, sleeves and other accessory?

The grimore seems like an amazing idea to have on the book shelf for a cube as almost a ready to go board game. The price seems too steep though for the time being and I'm curious if its better to wait for a possible price drop or wait for a later edition when factory nicks are not as prominent
