Great show guys! That Phil Esposito trade is regarded as one of the most lopsided trades in NHL history, not just Hawks history. Glad you arrived at that. If KD can just stay off the bad trade list as a young GM then Bravo!
No disrespect but I feel like Josi is a terrible comparison, HIGHLY unlikely his offense gets anywhere near Josi’s, and also their play styles are vastly different. Also saying Hedman is a realistic goal is kind of hilarious considering Hedman was arguably the best d man in the league for a minute, although at least the style of play fits there more. Realistically, I think his floor is Seth Jones, and his ceiling is Piterangelo. So not the most exciting for a #2 overall pick, def a little dissapointed that’s the direction we went, but if he hits that ceiling along with how deep our d prospect pool is looking we’ve about to have a top 8-5 d core in the league for years.
I watched alot of film. Theres alot of bad lost looking play. Headman or D'Angelo would be great. I see a player that had no business being no 2. Hawks should of traded with Montreal fo 5 and 26. Iginla and Hage look better than Levshunov. Davidson has no imagination. You get your D in free agency. 17:22
Totally agree. I think it’s a regime defining mistake…these guys know that too, they were all vehemently against the pick (other than Mario) but they won’t say it out loud now that the pick is made. The Hawks give them access, they toe the line

Saad for panarin was rediculous.. they both made 6 million per and it was the first of 2 yr deal fo pan. He would’ve stayed in chi for less

Korchinski was definitely rushed last season. There was no need to have him in the NHL last season.
