Beautiful guitar, wonderful refresh job! I ran into the same situation on my Gibson songwriter, it was supposed to be 25 1/2” scale but my notched straight edge wouldn’t fit. After measuring it, it was approximately 25 1/4. I think I may invest in some fret guards, taping off the fretboard takes all the fun out of it! Thanks for the video!
Most excellent! Say, have you ever tried ordinary brown paper bag for the final buff? Brown paper bag is now my go to. Plus, its perfect for cleaning contact points (like pinball machines). I too dislike going through tape like there is no end. Great video!!
I’m in the ‘safe habit’ of putting masking tape over the battery terminals… I heard that they’re possibly able to ignite any discarded steel wool that might be in that bin ! 😧
Thanks for the stair tread scrub block tip!
You're going on because you are making a pretty good job both, luthery wise and video editing skills as well. Thank you
That is a really nice Gibson
That’s a Ren Ferguson Era Gibson.
He’s at Guild now and he builds his own brand also.
Lovely sounding instrument...
✌️❤️🎄
Thanks Scottie D for another year of great videos. 👍 I like it!
Glad you like them!
Great Sir❤
Thanks for the great videos. Very well done, very insightful and just a pleasure to watch : )
Nice work guitar sounds and looks great, like your stringing method must give it a try.
Hello people
Heloooooo people
Man, that is a nice guitar.
Nice. 👌🏻
Love your picking.
You're humor, it's just too good. And your work is impeccable. Happy new year, almost
Good shit Scott
Happy holidays! Thanks for all the informative videos.

Those J200's sure have a "clean" sound. no trashy overtones. The Martin D models seem to have a B string thats prone to wolf tone.
Great guitar, you took good care of it, Scotty.
As usual, great job.
@@Geeman002 Thank You 😊

@ 14:08 did you toss the battery in the trash? Or is that just a giant battery recycle bin?
Trash! Should I recycle? ♻️

Like they say, "There's no money past the fifth fret".
Did you take extra care to avoid the fret nibs or is the owner ready to lose them with the first fret job? Great work and nice playing at the end.
@@ag_deville oh yes. No nibs were damaged or discussed just yet. It’s not due for a fret replacement.
Thank You 🙏
It’s a shame Grover refuses to make their imperial correctly.
Nice sounding J200! Not the guitar for somebody that doesn’t want to be noticed.
