Hey Hismit would you say that a character is redundant if they can’t ever make it to first place in tournament? By extension are players redundant if they can’t ever break first place. I see endless talk of excellent players each with a mastery of a specific character. But I only ever see players using top tiers ever actually winning. I hear endless talk of how incredible the player Yuki Otoko was, yet I can find footage of him closing out a tournament.

I'm starting to think aegis may not be the best choice against top tier characters.
