The actual odyssey is pretty much told to T-baby by everyone else. Epic just makes it less confusing by doing it in chronological order instead of as all third party stories.
According to a cursory bit of research I did after watching the original, the dragon Kadmus slew was a child of Ares. Feel free to fact check me on that

@PompyPieYT after the trailers are viewed if you want to know what they are from there is a video made by Last Minute Essays called Limbus Company: all books referenced by the main cast Also turn on closed captions when reacting to the trailers as they are in Korean if you check out the game they have in-game text in English, Japanese and Korean
@@PompyPieYT also I'm very motivated and excited for they did a official Livestream not that long ago and it was so hype. the Livestreams are amazing the CEO does a scuffed slideshow of upcoming content and doodles on the slide show with a lime marker while using a Vtuber model based on the company dog
Read the original versions of fairytales, they are MUCH MUCH darker and often have unhappy endings for like most of the characters. Modernization of them made them the way they are now because at some point we decided kids are made of spun glass and can't handle any dose of reality. Originally fairy tales (and fairies) were meant to terrify children into behaving.

I recommend watching their video on the Iliad as this video was a sequel to that and some of the jokes here are callbacks to the Iliad video.
