Dynamite, butter and ptd were released in pandemic just for fun, they had no idea how big they're gonna get, they were planning to go in military but bcs the pandemic started their concerts got cancelled and all of them became sad that's when they decided to make everyone happy by releasing these happy vibe songs 💜
I really appreciate you guys giving bts a chance. Most people are judgmental and ignore bts like I used to do, but when you actually take the time to look at their music and history, you learn how talented and versatile they are. Thank you for being genuine reactors 💜

Actually, Dynamite was released in the summer of 2020... and it was a total bop that was an uplifting antidote to the pandemic blues.
I’m 100% sure they had 35 million followers on TH-cam on their BANGTANTV channel when this song was released now they have 77 million!!
Yep, Dynamite was the first song I heard from BTS when they performed it at the VMAs, in 2020 during the pandemic. Saw their dancing and singing and have been hooked ever since. I love all their content, it brings me happiness. Can't wait for Jin to get home next month. He's my bias. 💜💜💜
There is an OST on the timeline that I would have liked them not to skip, it is called Heartbeat, it is a song for a mobile game from 2019, although it is just a simple soundtrack for a game, the Music Video is very well done, the song It's beautiful and heartbreaking, even serious of the most underrated BTS songs, please take that into account.

Dynamite was the first song I heard of BTS and now here I am literally obsessed with them. I’m 48 and can’t go one day without watching some of their content or reactions like yours.. I love ALL the members, they are all so gorgeous, talented, unique, funny af and amazing in everything they do but Jimin and Suga are my ultimate biases!!! This is the first song I heard BTS sing on the American Music Awards. I've heard their name before but never listened. When I saw them perform, I was impressed and liked them right away. I had to see what more they had to offer and now my like for them turned into my love for them. They are Awesome, talented, kind young men who've helped me through a lot of transitions in my life through their music! Looking forward for them to be all together again!! I am Fake Love era army. This song was a total surprise for long term army like myself, but what a breath of fresh air it was amidst the pandemic situation! And you are right about a lot of people discovering BTS through this song and becoming army.

This song DID introduce me to BTS when it first came out and I have been listening to them everyday since. I even went to their concert in Vegas in 2022. I only listen to kpop now, all day everyday. I have the best kpop cardio playlist, lol.
Here since 2012 and enjoyed this first of the three English tracks. It gave ARMY a focus during the Pandemic and we lifted it high for many weeks. 💜

😂😂😂 The struggle you guys had gone through waiting for this song is SO real!!! 😂 I think this was one of my firsts from BTS, but once I got into them, I loved their entire portfolio. And previous stuff even more. I never can stop singing when it comes on!! It is so catchy and happy. Definitely lifts the mood 💜
Dynamite is a disco pop track and that Butter and PTD was during the pandemic to lift people's spirits during such a hard time for them and people around the world.
Good morning guys, great reaction again. Dynamite have a lot of different versions and you guys will love all of them. BTS did Dynamite fot the 2021 grammy. They didn't write the song and they never expected it to be this big. After their concert was canceled they were very sad and did Dynamite to cheer up armies and was very surprised how big it became. Soy fan de las series coreanas pero no tengo redes sociales, ni solía ver TH-cam así que no los conocía ni sabía lo grandes que eran! Asi que estoy muy agradecida de que decidieran hacer esta canción en inglés que tuvo tanta repercusión mundial y así los pude conocer. Y en estos cuatro años no he parado de descubrir toda su discografía y programas como Run BTS y me he enamorado de todas sus peculiaridades como artistas y personas, cada uno de ellos es una bomba de talento y juntos formas la banda más asombrosa que he visto!

Thanks for your reaction. During the local morning news they would always have music going to a commercial. I heard this song constantly and finally looked it up on TH-cam. I was literally shocked to find it was BTS. The rest is history. I've been down that rabbit hole ever since and proud to be ARMY!

What got me into BTS was their debut song No More Dream, but i was a year late at that time (been ARMY since 2014). I knew about kpop since 2010 but rarely explored other idols after the few I've discovered at the time. During 2013, I barely listened to kpop for some reason, so I missed out on their actual debut. Dynamite is a feel-good song for me. I also love the fact that they do different genres of music that I like so it's a win-win situation for me 💜

I'm really glad you guys appreciate this song as you have seen majority of their previous MV's. They have huge catalog of songs of many different styles and great lyrics. This wasn't a planned song, usually they plan albums and songs well in advance. They dropped Map of the Soul: 7 album, planned for a huge World Tour before they were to join the military. When the tour was canceled it hit them really hard, it was suppose to be a goodbye of sorts to the fans before they left for the military.
This song they received and liked the song as it was, someone can correct me if I'm wrong but this was the first title track song (other then Japanese songs) they released where no member had any writing or producing credits to a song. They released this song as a single only a couple months after having their World Tour canceled (April 28th 2020 it was cancelled). They wanted to cheer the fans up during a hard time.
I will admit I didn't like this song when I first heard it, I was use to their great meaningful lyrics. It wasn't until I saw a live performance of the song and saw how much joy it gave them to perform it that I began to change my mind about it. I watched almost every live performance they did of this song which is a ridiculous amount and was insanely impressed how they made each performance very different.
I found them through Fake Love and Mic Drop MV's in 2018, I started watching their variety show "Run BTS!" and fell down the rabbit hole. Their albums are a vast treasure trove of amazing b-sides. Sadly, most people if they check them out if they do at all it's usually this song or Butter first because of the view count. Some people love it and others including the western media slapped the stereotypical "boyband" label on it called it a day, never bothered to check anything else out. As someone who came from hard rock and metal that became army, it can be frustrating to see them be dismissed so easily or misunderstood. This is why recommending songs based on what genre a person likes is so helpful cuz they do so many different styles, probably more then any other artist I know of.

i got into BTS a bit after dynamite (wish i did before) with life goes on, but this DEFINITELY brought a lot of the GENERAL PUBLIC to listen to their music, which if you're not a gatekeeper you surely love. and to answer your question VERY LITTLE reactors wait to actually watch their videos chronologically, most of them watch the english hits first which (in my opinion) give you a not so REAL vision of who they are. anyways, love your reactionsss

My first song was Dope which is a bit ironic since it starts with RM saying “Welcome, first time with BTS?” I didn’t hear it until years after it came out but way before the English songs which are personally not my favorites & it’s probably because they didn’t write them. The ones they write are more intricate, personal & artistic.
I feel the same way I prefer the songs they write themselves. I do enjoy watching them perform it tho, they always look like they are having a blast. I do think they have gotten some strong unnecessary hate by antis (solo stans & fake fans included) due to it's success, they make up all sorts of excuses why or spout wild nonsensical things but it really just comes down to jealousy in the end. The things they say sometimes I'm like honey your kpop favs made an English song before BTS some even made a whole English album you didn't get mad at them, out of 250+ songs BTS have made 3 songs were in English sit down. So I feel a bit more protective of them despite it not being my musical taste. That and after hearing Jungkook's "Standing Next to You" & V's "For Us" I realized maybe I just didn't like the English songwriters they had either cuz I love those 2 songs. That and I came from listening to rock music like Alice in Chains, Mudvayne, Flaw & Tool you can have clever great lyrics in English songs you just won't find it in most Western pop songwriters imo.
@@roguechevelle my least favorites are those involving Ed Sheeran but that’s only because I don’t enjoy his music. It’s not the language, you’re right, it’s the writers. V’s FRI(end)S is perfect because the writers took his style to heart when writing it. That song is V which is why it works, for me.

I had no idea who they were, till I heard the song from a korean actor dancing to the song boy with luv, and was curious who sang it... then I watched different live performances with the same song, and I got hooked...
