A little impression from a rehearsal with Ian Harrison and Poul Høxbro joining the medieval pipe-&-tabor and shawm. Video edited by Elisabeth Holmertz.
Curious - why flesh strung rather than counter hoop strung on the tabor? Wood flesh hoops are later time-wise than counter hoops so can't be an authenticity thing. Also - just a minor comment - a smaller pipe in D would carry better alongside the shawm.
This is wonderful!
Very jazzy:)
Thank you. We do our best :-)
