    Ok... so Let ME just GET EVERYONE's attention here! I checked out "Session" and WOWWWW!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY! It took me about 4.2 min to have EVERYTHING set up and looking fantastic and all ready to go! EASY, simple and VERY nice! Wow!
    It's about 147 times EASIER, faster, and as Amy said, it's DESIGNED for mini sessions! I'm gonna be at a networking event and will be offering a "event only" type special for people that are attending. THIS is so perfect.
    I will also say that Session is worth EVERY single last penny it costs! Just wow! Love HB, but for "this?!??" it's Session all day ever day! THank you AMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thank you for this video. My event is in 3 weeks, and I was trolling my emails daily trying not to miss a Contact Form submission. I will say that I took notes as you went along and I found your process easy to understand (especially after a replay or two🙂)! I have had Honeybook for a while and only just discovered the smart files. Thank you so much!

    Thank you for posting this tutorial it is a lot more comprehensive than others I have watch but to be honest I got lost on many of the steps, not sure what you where clicking on or why and although you did explained many of the steps you missed to point out a few of the steps and that is when I got lost. I watched it over and over and over. Speclially on minute 11:44

    Hello! First of all, thank you for making this video so easy to understand!! I’m new to HB and this was great. My first project here.
    Question: I tested it with my test contact and although everything seems to be set up in automations, I still had to go back and send the email to “finish booking” manually, and the finish booking button is missing. Any help would be appreciated, I must be missing something

    Loved your video! It was SUPER helpful and I was following along every step of the way. My only question is at 13:24, my scheduler icon is grayed out and it says "Coming soon..."! Are they still rolling out this feature or do you need the highest tiered membership to have access to it?

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm...that is strange! And you're using smart files? I would reach out to Honeybook support about that! I was fairly certain that feature had been rolled out to everyone!

    Hi! This video was so helpful. I followed along with each step but for some reason my scheduler is not letting people click on the dates I made “available” to choose from in the smart file. Do you know what I’m doing wrong? Thanks!!

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hmmm...it could be a number of things but check your connected calendars - if you have any events set to "busy", it won't let anything be scheduled during those times.

    I have a very important question? When the client choose their time slot, does it prevent other clients from choosing that time automatically? I tried to create my own project for a test and noticed that every time slot was still available.

    This information was very helpful and after tweaking stuff around i think i got the hang of it. However, I do have a question. In my contract section, I like to state the Session date and time (project date and time) so I added in a smart field and selected project date, but i don't want to allow clients to change it, instead i would like for it to auto fill with the time they selected on scheduler. is that possible?

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Unfortunately the scheduler does NOT trigger the project date field. HUGE bummer. That's why I have the workaround with the contact form - it will work as long as the client puts the correct date in the contact form.

    Am I the only one who hates how the user has to click through the calendar to find the month the sessions are offered? So if im offering sessions six months in advance they have to click through six months? Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I haven't figured out how to fix this.

    Is it possible to develop this and simply share a link via IG story to allow multiple people the ability to schedule and pay, without the hassle of filling out the contact form?

    Hi,
    I tried in the scheduler to setup the end and start date to be the same (since mini session is the same day different time slots) and it’s telling me the end date has to go after the start date 😭 is Honeybook’s really set up to do same day mini bookings?

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you have to leave the end date empty and just set the availabilty for that one day only instead of every Saturday (or whatever day). It CAN be done in Honeybook, however it is extremely obnoxious and if you do mini sessions with any regularity, I highly recommend using Session for them instead because it is built for that. (I've been ignoring my youtube channel for a bit but have a video on that coming soon.)

    One question: why are we making a mini contact form when we're having to make a mini project option? because it seem thats where this automation comes in right? Unless you're sending a bulk email with this specific contact form.... Just been working on this a few hours and had that question come to mind.

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, feels like jumping through hoops for sure, but it is important in this case! If you don’t create a separate contact form for your mini session project type, you’d have to add a question to the contact form with the project type field linked and hope the client selects the correct option (plus it’s an extra step for them) instead of the project type automatically being your mini session project! Does that make sense?

    how does it look on the client side?

  • @kristyadams5633
    @kristyadams5633 ปีที่แล้ว

    I just set this up pretty much exactly like you did in this video. It was very informative. But I ran into one tiny snag that I hope you can help me with. Maybe it was something I overlooked. When I had my first hit, it created the project for my client, but then marked my availability to "busy" within the project details, and that took the whole date offline for anyone else who wanted to check into it. It was basically a first come first serve. How can I default take my availability to "free" so I truly can just watch the bookings come in hands off?

    • @kristyadams5633
      @kristyadams5633 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ok, with some fiddling, I ended up deleting the date field in the contact form. I think that's what messed it all up. Once the first person did that it just marked it as busy and no one else could finish booking. I'm not too worried about that because it needs to be paid in full at booking anyways, and I just went in and inputted the correct date in the contract that they can't edit. So it was a little bit of a workaround, but at least now multiple people can book.

    • @AmyLynnCreative
      @AmyLynnCreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kristy - so sorry for the late reply - you are correct - it is such a pain. the project date would have to be adjusted each time someone booked to be a certain timeframe. The way that you did it is the the only way to do it without constantly updating the project date with the specific time slot.

      I have the same problem. HB said to take the date out of the contact form or to use lead forms instead of contact forms.
