I visited Sri Lanka in 2018 and loved its people and landscape. I went there last month again to make travel documentaries about its dense ancient sites. I had so many wonderful friends there and i hope everything will be fine for them. Bali, Thailand is beautiful yes! But Sri Lanka not being far behind. Give Sri Lanka a chance and Go get some TRAVEL!
Don't forget to visit Nuwara Eliya (Hortain Plains, World's End, many water falls, Ella, etc. all are in Nuwara Eliya district), Sigirya, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa (there two places are ancient monarchs). There are so many other extraordinary places to visit in SL.
Unawatuna is a nice place to relax on the beach after your trip throughout Sri Lanka. It's very clean and it has many shops and restaurants. You can also use the highway back to Colombo by bus. Also I would like to recommend the children's home called Chathura in Mabotuwana if you want to do a good thing while your vacation and help children. There is a cooperation with Germany. You can go there and check. It's not a scam or anything like that. Take care and have fun with your journey.

each and every home can be made paradise, once the beaches like these are brought to homes! there is no need to roam about the beaches to see the semi-nude girls!
