The skyline restaurant idea for the opening tragedy sounds familiar to one of the books. I think it was "Dead Man's Hand'" where the main cast were leaving on an external elevator when it happens. It would be interesting to see them pull this idea for the big screen.
I remember thinking before the 5th movie came out thinking they should do a bridge falling down. after the 5th movie I've been thinking they should do a cruise.... it sounds better than a race car tragity. The restaurant in a skyrise makes sense, makes it more dadly and harder to escape than a regular restaurant. Looking forward to the release of Final Destination Bloodlines, but I am debating if i should read the books. I have been told there are books..

Maybe the woman who has the premonition is pregnant at the time of being at the restaurant, so she has the vision, and after that she quietly sees the signs and leaves quickly without warning anyone and what keeps her from dying is having a newborn, then years go by she has a whole family and they don’t know that she let their grandpa die at the restaurant, so they find out and start to hate her, the family members start to die one by one and she’s the last one standing, then at the very end she wakes up from the actual premonition and she’s still at the restaurant and everything never happened and then it’s too late to leave the place and she dies and the movie ends
I think we're assuming the protagonist has the premonition. Perhaps the one that had the premonition long ago has another one at that moment, and sacrifices themselves to prevent the tragedy/get the rest of the family out.
How I see it tony Todd will be the one to experience death in the pass which leads him to know how it works seeing all the different people dying from death he finds a girl which he saves then it cuts to the restaurant causing her to have a vision for what is going to happen and as she saves her friends she asks for help so he explains the rules to her but death still comes for her and her friends and tony Todd dies at some point leaving her to tell others about the rules

Why did they not make it on something like a Cruise it would have been a much better idea.
