QJ will be missed. He is a tough runner and tough to stop, but not so much breakaway speed. US Bentley is more finesse and speed and will just get more carries. OM has a couple others who are young, but impressive along with Diggs who might play late if he gets healthy. Lane Kiffen always has a good running game without the superstar necessary. This along with a portal enhancement of the O Line and best wide receiver room maybe anywhere. Snoop Conner and Parrish were not QJ talent but ran all over the place in LKs system in prior years. Rebs will be just fine and QJ will also.
Dart does have problems with the middle of the field but showed a lot of improvement in 2023 vs 2022 in that area. Ole Miss could have best WR core in the country next season with addition of Juice Wells and Deion Smith if he makes it on campus. Judkins loss is only a big deal if the OL additions of Pounds, Kalepo, Buelow, and Scott don't prove to be an upgrade. I'd rather have a good RB behind an above average OL than a great RB behind an average OL.
@@powerhoursec because we’ve learned to throw the ball to prieskorn more and have more serious weapons at wide receiver, a returning rb who was more efficient than QJ in Ulysses Bentley and Logan diggs who was a solid lsu running back plus a rs freshman rb who was number 7 best rb in the country coming out of high school and what should be a significantly improved offensive line. Teams will have to honor the pass more and we’ll effectively block a higher percentage of plays. We’ll rotate 3 backs instead of 2 and they’ll be fresher as well as our o line rotation. Plus our defense should be hugely improved which will mean more offensive possessions for us and more scoring.
The issue with the Ole Miss offensive line is that every run play that looks like play action is a rpo which is most of Ole Miss’s offense so they’re run blocking most of the time
Excellent and knowledgeable analysis! Middle of the field is where Dart can improve. The offensive line should be considerably improved with new additions. I do not think Judkins is a deal breaker. In fact, his selfish attitude was a relative distraction. He was used as a decoy many times. Bentley is faster and shiftier, though not as strong, but got fewer carries because Judkins demanded it. Bentley's backup is a very capable 4 star, and Logan Diggs will be a major factor, if healthy. The only concern I have at running back is whether they can stay healthy. One more pickup in the portal might be needed.
#1 Portal class = healthy defense additions (#1 D Lineman / #1 Edge) + many returning starters + already vastly improving defense year to year under Golding. Defense will be much improved.
@@powerhoursec We are basing our opinions off last year, right? UGA, as a group, had better WR’s than OM last year….they also had a TE that was pretty good. But I was mainly talking about the O-line. If you think it’s lunacy to consider UGA’s O-line a different planet than Ole Miss, you’re in the wrong line of work.
@@rebelmetal4233 You said "Dart is not surrounded by NFL talent"...I'm just telling you that's not true. There is some. But you are right, not at UGA's level
@@powerhoursechis point is that Dart is the better QB of the two as evidenced by the fact that he plays at least as well if not better than the GA QB despite having, on the whole, less talent surrounding him.
Glad to see I got you onboard the Dart train, Carter! I like his athletic abilities, but he also has one of the best OCs for coaching QBs.
No doubt Mick!
Not an Ole Miss fan, but you have to appreciate the skill.
Good seeing you again, NW!
Dart is really good and he’s in the PERFECT situation.
Facts
he's a tough SOB = tougher than Corral even
Harris was maliks qb in HS
Insane. Both will be NFL studs
Best called game in Lanes career by far. Every call was perfect.

Jaxson Dart to the Raiders!

You think OM is a playoff lock?
@@powerhoursec Most likely a real contender. I wouldn't say any team is a lock. You never know how things will work out, but they have all the tools.

Deion is so talented. He made some absurd grabs early in his LSU career.
Wish Penn state had a defense!😮
Prieskorn is back too. 😱
Should be a loaded offense
And he has a darn good o line for 2024!
Jayden Daniels was last year. But I think Dart is now
Naw even with quinshon leaving we’ll score more this year than last.
Interesting Luke. Why do you say that?

Who do you think will be the lead back next year? Bentley or Diggs?
@@powerhoursec Bentley, because I don't think Biggs will be healthy enough at the beginning of the season.
imagine a healthy dart with a radically improved offensive line
And he was injured doing all of this!
Wild, Tyler. What was your fav part of the film study?
I could see Miss making it to the playoffs but idk about their defense😂

That's right, you don't.
They have a good DC, so that helps
Ole miss will have a top 10 defense next year cuz
Why do coaches teach kids to pay the ball before they throw? Drives me NUTS!!!
Stud
To bad fair Penn State had a lot of opt outs for this game.
Yeah Chop changes things
Go Gators ! Mertz better
Dart isn't perfect, but I believe he's the best in the SEC...some people want to say Beck, but Beck is surrounded by NFL talent. Dart is not.
This is lunacy. Tre Harris is a first round pick and better than any WR UGA has
