Im hella excited for this game! Its been hella long since I seen the very first trailer, like years ago.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG rooted in Chinese mythology. You shall set out as the Destined One to venture into the challenges and marvels ahead, to uncover the obscured truth beneath the veil of a glorious legend from the past.
Black Myth: Wukong is a 2024 action role-playing game developed and published by Game Science. The game is inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West, and follows an anthropomorphic monkey based on the character of Sun Wukong from the novel. It was released for PlayStation 5 and Windows on August 20, 2024 to generally favorable reviews from critics. An Xbox Series X/S version of the game is slated for a later date.
Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game. Even though the game is not a soulslike, it does share some common elements of the subgenre. It is played in single-player mode from a third-person perspective. It is inspired by the classical Chinese novel Journey to the West.
The player controls a monkey protagonist referred to as the Destined One, who is based on Sun Wukong from the novel.
