East Somerset Railway -50th Anniversary Gala- 17/3/24.

The East Somerset Railway kicked off their operating season with the first with their 50th Anniversary Gala. 2999, "Lady of Legend", a new build Saint class from 2019, visited from the Didcot Railway Centre. It was deputising 6880, "Betton Grange", as it wasn't completed in time. Alongside that included Large Prairie 4110 and Ivatt 2MT 46447. Also, on Driver for a Tenner duties was Andrew Barclay 1719, "Lady Nan". The gala included double headers and a freight demonstration from Cranmore station to the sheds.
