While not my favorite, I have to give Downpour credit where it's earned it. The atmosphere was rather affective and is easily my favorite part of the game. The story was interesting and had me hooked, though the execution really fell short at times. This game did do well with its whole "mind-fuck" element, which is what I always look for in Silent Hill games. However, the monsters, for the most part, were boring and unimaginative, which was a huge blow to this game in my opinion. The gameplay was also clunky, but I'm honestly more interested in the story. Overall, I did enjoy this game and wouldn't call it a failure.

you might have to listen to all of them carefully because sometimes the songs you are looking for have intros and the music in the games are played midway maybe.
Think I might have found it at last! I'm don't think it's the same exactly, but it's very similar. Try the soundtrack called Monastic Tendencies, it's near the end. Plays in the last minute or so.

problem was- how do you top pyramid head. I mean Boogeyman, gasmask guy looks like a dude from Stalker Shadow of Chernobyl...What a shame this franchise went down the tubes
actually the idea of boogeyman is pretty good. in silent hill 2 pyramid head represent james guilt for what he did, boogeyman in the other hand represents everibodys personal monster for murphy the boogeyman was the man who killed his son, for the cop the boogeyman is actually murphy... but yeah the design was pretty shity
The moment I heard Silent Hill 1's theme played, I felt so disappointed. This game DOESN'T deserve to play that. This may be a great horror game, but it certainly isn't a Silent Hill game.

Silent Hill Downpour had potential but halfway through the story at the DJ room is when it gets really stupid and downhill from there. Murphy literally becomes a depressing emo brat later on whining about two traffic death's he randomly blamed himself for and every one of the characters barely even acts like a damn normal human being at that point.

I got SH-Downpour 3D, and the graphics looked great, I just wish more than the menu's were 3D..
