Rosalie Rodriguez: Decibel Studios- The Breakfast Table Sessions

Born and raised in the heart of central California, the San Joaquin Valley, Rosalie Rodriguez, a third generation mariachi musician, made her way to Los Angeles after high school to pursue a career in the performing arts. After studying music and vocal training at Berklee College of music, Rosalie landed a recording contract with Sony Music Latin. In 2014, Rosalie became a Grammy Award Winner.

Perfect timing! Great work Jesús, Rosalie and accompanying musicians with this ecclectic Bossa Nova vibe with a Latin flair for an early & rainy Southern California/LA Monday morning opening with "Libro Abierto". The "Chicano National Anthem" of "Sabor A Mi" was epic & groovy. "Homenaje A Chabuca Granda" has left me without proper superlatives to properly describe & edify. The topping & sweet cherry on top of this session of Decibel Studios Collective & Breakfast Table Alumna Rosalie Rodríguezes arrangement & interpretation of the classic "Frenesí" wraps it all up "con sabor y estilo".
