What to do when you’re being tormented and nothing seems to work. I thank Him for what He has done… but it doesn’t bring me the relief I need.
This is gonna sound insensitive, but it surely isn't malicious... Only saying it to help...
We are only tormented when we are focused on ourself. Narcissism is really the core of all torment. Satan in our thoughts like "ooo, that hurts YOU doesn't it? That's so scary for YOU isn't it? This is making YOUR life so much worse, huh?" Christ told us to deny OURSELVES, pick up our cross (in your case would be torment), and follow HIM (truth and love). Not easy, but when we start surrendering, and stop focusing on ourselves, fear and torment have to leave, because they have no place in a child of God. A child of God has nothing to fear, because our Dad can beat up the other dad lol!
I know what you're going through. I dealt with absolute terror, pain and constant misery for 7 years. I'm not there, so to speak, in perfect peace as I believe we can be, but I am certainly on my way. If you'd like, I can send you my email or phone number if you have more questions. Hi Marek. I can say without a doubt that Jesus is enough. His finished work is perfect! With that being said, it's hard to say much more without knowing the particulars of your life. However, there is a reason (or reasons) you have not found relief. Are you connected with a solid church, grounded in the Word? Do you have access to men of God who will speak the truth in love and not hold back or water it down? If so then go to them. If not then I pray He would lead you to this.
