I honestly cannot put into words how I feel about this movie, it was that random and chaotic. Just watch for yourself, you'll understand. Enjoy :)

"Oh my god, we hit a boot!"
"oh my God, we hit a boot"
"WHERE'S THE FOOT" 🤣🤣
My brother took me to see this in theaters. Pretty sure like 95% of everyone there was baked because they were dying of laughter every minute.
Ghostface attempting to hide, and cleaning up in the background are actually really funny. The random stuff he was doing is the best thing about this movie lol
The look on your face during the last scene with Dewey and the dilemma with the vacuum cleaner😂
I’ve seen this movie 100 times and have never seen that scene. Am I alone here? Is it post credits or what?
Watch it ALL THE WAY TILL THE END 👍
Its the very last post credit scene
I highly recommend "Not Another Teen Movie" and "There's Something About Mary" as your next comedy films.
"omg, we hit a boot!" has always been my favourite line
"im gonna fall and break my leg" when i tell you we all LOST IT at the cinema...XDDD
“Where’s the foot?!”
Scary Movie 1 and 3 are my favorites out of all of them :D. The 2000's were a fun time.
I love the attention to detail. As a teen I was a big horror movie fan. So, this was a walk down memory lane. The amount of jokes was great. The quality isn’t always high, but I think, this is one of the funniest movies ever made. It has heart, and that’s why it works.
24:40... that was the "Riverdance" she was imitating, it was an Irish dance television show from the 90s. It was really good.
The word “irreverent” comes to mind for this era of comedies. American Pie is up there with this one. Great reaction, as always!
The ending is my absolute favorite 😂
What a clever way to spoof off of Usual Suspects, so funny
Definitely watch I Know What You Did Last Summer they spoofed off that a ton
oh ya i didnt realize that was a usual suspects reference i thought it was just how doofy walked
I literally don't care if people find it 'touchy'. It is all done for comedy and nothing should be off limits to that, especially when everything is joked at.
I agree that there's no such thing as a "touchy subject" in comedy, only those who can take a joke, and those who can't.
But I think there's a different issue entirely here and in other films, especially from a few decades ago. Stuff like "a character being gay" isn't itself funny, and can be genuinely harmful if the implication is that someone who is gay is like a joke of a human being or the laughing stock of society. Gay people aren't _intrinsically_ funny, but that's how they were treated for quite some time, and is one reason why generations of people have been too terrified or embarrassed to come out of the closet, which no one should be made to feel.
So it's not about whether or not it's okay to have jokes about homosexuals; it's about whether or not _showing a person "being gay"_ even qualifies as *a joke* in the first place. I'm not saying homosexuality is off-limits in comedy; I've heard plenty of HILARIOUS jokes and bits about gay attraction/lovers/sex, that were actually CLEVER and FUNNY. But having a character whose personality is that they are flamboyantly gay (or incompetently retarded, as another example), and that being "the joke", is definitely dated "comedy" that we have, for the most part, moved past as a society, and doesn't really have a place in modern media.
Not that anything containing such content should be shunned or rewritten. I can respect that it was of its time; but that doesn't mean we can't discuss and criticize it, and acknowledge any issues. In the end, being able to recognize something as problematic and trying to do better going forward is what defines our growth as a species.
@@turntsnaco824 yeah and thanks to that we don't have good comedies anymore, everything nowadays has to pander to some group or deliver some woke message, and only white straight people are made fun of in new comedies, you're not allowed to joke about any minority, where's the fairness in that? no wonder no modern comedy will be remembered and reacted to for decades and decades like scary movie and others from its time, where whites and minorities were made fun of equally and no one had any privileges
Eh I agree but also I feel like they were just so much better with this edgy humor back in the day than nowadays
If current 'edgy' humor is done bad, like more specifically insulting instead of having everything be fair game, then they really need to study the classics before putting anything to film.@@ll4576
Saw this in theaters when I was 15/16 and I laughed the entire time to this movie. The scene when Ms Man opened them legs, I was rolling and dying especially the look Cindy had on her face with all the swinging action that kept getting closer to her 😂
The whole theater scene with Brenda is legend! Regina Hall improvised those lines during that scene and she knocked it out of the park 😆
I actually lost count of how many times you said Mate the entire reaction lol
You did look a bit numb when giving your final critique of the movie lol
When this movie came out, it was definitely different times to where we could all just sit back, watch and have a good laugh lol
Cheers mate!
Wassup was a Budweiser ad at the time the movie came out, you can see the original ad here on YT.
Ps Ms Man is a real woman, she's a professional body builder and has a couple kids
Miss Mann is actually played by a female bodybuilder.
Really ? Damn I Always tought It was a men 😂
@@Takecareofyourbusiness I did too. There are claims she is trans but most seem to say she isn't. Her name is Jayne Trcka.
OMG the reaction at the end with Dewey and the vacuum! 😂😂😂 I wonder what you would think of the comedy Sausage Party (2016)... if you thought THIS movie was weird...😅
"I'm trying to process everything I just saw."
Welcome to 90's parody movies. They're only almost as ridiculous as the movies they're lambasting.
My friends and I love the Scary Movie film because nothing really offends us and we don't take jokes and comedy as serious. We are from a different generation though where that was the norm.
The 1st movie will always be the best and most memorable one!
I really, really enjoyed watching this with you, Marshmallow. You should've had a "Mate!!" counter in the corner. LOL.
😆
Found your channel a few days ago and I'm binging your content. I had a terrible day at work, but you've made me smile so much. You're the coziest youtuber ever.
Hooroo and hugs from Norway!
Thankyou! Glad the vids are helpful. Hugs from Aus!!
One of the funniest movies ever made
Scary Movie 3 is my favorite of the franchise. The shotgun shovel is my favorite visual gag I’ve ever seen in anything. 😂🤣
1 & 2 were produced by the Wayans, but issues caused 3 & 4 to be made by the Zucker Brothers who did Airplane, Top Secret and The Naked Gun. I love most of them but 3 & 4 were also hilarious and Leslie Nielson was in 3 & 4 and he was funny.
1 and 2 are the ones that matter
i almost forgot how ridiculous some of the scenes where, i laught way to hard on this one, thanks for watching this, and you should really watch “I know what you did last summer” to understand all those references , love your channel btw, greetings from germany ♥
The way you jumped when miss man’s balls fell out lmao
It's a different time and generation. People were more opened minded and less sensitive. Glad you enjoyed the film the best as you could. I enjoy your content. I definitely will be continuing watching your channel.
Bruh everyone since today think that movie is funny, its not about generation
@@daniel_black7264 I think he is alluding to the fact that comedies popular in the 80s,90s,00s are not possible to make anymore.
I mean to be honest, people who are from the 70s think 80s comedy is cringe the next generation is gonna think the current generation is cringe. @@palasta
@@TreyMessiah95 What? But i like comedy from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s.
And the generation before yours thinks your generation isn't open minded because you don't like racist humor.
But Im sure YOUR generation is the special one that is just the right balance right?
Cindy dancing was from the Riverdance shows that were really popular at the time
i recommend you more *Wayans brothers* movies :

You missed the best movie of all.
Mo Money
Are you going to react to Scary Movie 2, 3 and 4 too? ;) If you want to react to an actual horror/thriller movie, react to The Ring ^^
You clearly didn’t watch enough movies before this, you seem to not get the reference of “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, nor who Carmen Electra is. Lol
Yeah it ruined the entire experience 😆
@@thecocoacouch - No smartass, that was you that ruined it, all you.( incert eye roll now).
"You guys are psychos! You've watched too many TV shows!"
"No! Watching TV shows doesn't create psycho killers. Canceling TV shows does! I mean The Wayans Bros. (1995) was a good show, man! It was a good show, but we've never even got a final episode!"
Fun Fact: "Scary Movie" was the working title of Scream (1996), the main movie parodied.
Some Closer Fact: The Wayans Bros. (1995) is actually getting its long awaited final episode called Long Vacation (2023) and it came out July 2023.
Casting Notes Fact: Jared Leto was offered to play Bobby during the early stages of casting. He eventually declined, in favor of doing Requiem For A Dream (2000), which also starred Scary Movie (2000) writer/actor Marlon Wayans.
What Script Fact: Despite the screenplay credits for Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg, little if anything from their screenplay was used. Marlon Wayans in particular has said that he and most of the other writers responsible for the final script never even read Seltzer and Friedberg's draft, after Keenen Ivory Wayans checked it over and assured them that it contained nothing worth retaining in their version.
Deep Cut Fact: The "Whassup" scene is a parody of a Budweiser's "True" 1999 commercial. The commercial became an inspiration for other Budweiser commercials using the "Whassup" catchphrase up till the year 2002. Van Der Beek appears at the window early in the movie and I Don't Want To Wait (1997) by Paula Cole plays in the background, which is the theme to Dawson's Creek (1998) which stars James Van Der Beek.
That's Hot Fact: Shannon Elizabeth said the director wanted to achieve a push-up look with her boobs so they kept making her wear tighter tops and bras that pushed them out as far as possible. But when the director wanted to add padding, she just turned around and said "Hey, do I look like the kind of girl who needs extra padding?" and the entire set just burst out laughing. So finally it's just her own healthy breasts that you see in the movie.
I love your recording area! Its super cozy :)
16:30 - 16:40 was hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Agree.
It's a different feeling if you grew up with these movies in the early 2000s.
I was about 13-14 years old when i saw this in the theaters, right age for it aswell so of course it became HUGE in our world then.
Scary Movie 1&2 were comedy classics.
Yes, classic! Love your reactions. Always so toughtful.
Thanks ☺️
I remember I was 7 when this movie came out, and my older sister made me watch it with her. It's safe to say I wasn't the same afterward 😅
Was it awkward 😂😂😂
I think more people have seen this movie than the movies they were referencing 😂
OMG!! I love this movie!!! I hope you watch every movie of this saga!
There's also Disaster movie, Meet the Spartans and Vampires suck if you want to watch those too (I think they are from the same studio and they keep the same tone of the movies) those are hilarious!! (Specially Spartans, after you watched 300)
My mom took me to see it in theaters lmao blushes.
“Okay. If I see Bobby, I’ll tell him I love him.”
That is such a Zucker Brothers joke. 😄
…and don’t call me Shirley.
The Wayans Brothers wrote and directed parts 1 and 2
@@lonerebeI I know. I wasn't trying to imply that they didn't, but rather just to say that their influences showed pretty clearly in that joke. Not to say that's a bad thing either.
I've been waiting for your reaction to it! It will be sooo cool if you watch more parts 2 and 3! 👍🏻
I feel like we should make a list of the cast and references for your benefit, but then you'd have to watch it again, which... I mean, it's not like you need it.
This is mostly a parody of the first _Scream_ but mixed in with _I Know What You Did Last Summer_ as well. The boyfriend joke in the first scene is that Drew is played by Carmen Electra, who first became famous by dating Prince, hence the "black guy who dresses feminine" joke. Carmen is also known for having large breast implants (hence the stabbing joke) and having posed several times for Playboy magazine (hence the magazine joke).
She was also married to Dennis Rodman, who wore make-up, feather boas, etc.
@@pendorran True!
oh didnt know that alright
This movie is so funny bro. I love It!!!
I'm quite glad that my teenage years were during the 00s, that decade got away with a lot of shit that was unimaginable in the decades before and also now.
WHAZUUUUUUUPPPP 😝😝😝
This was pure gold comedy in the 2000s. Everything is offensive nowadays.
Please watch all of them!❤ well, maybe not the last one, it has mixed reviews 🤔
Late 70s, 80s and 90s movies where the best jokes... They made fun of everything and everyone specially parodies. Nobody complained. Nowadays, everyone is so sensitive that is hard to find this humor anymore. Some people are uptight and it kills the mood.
Testing on animals is actually much more gruesome.
Gales camera man is the most underrated character
Omg yes!! Love these movies just as the scream movies!! 😂❤
This movie was a product of its time, you had to be there. 😂
This movie definitely doesn't pull any punches with the jokes. LOL! Sometimes it was hard to keep up. You should check out Mel Brooks "Young Frankenstein." It's not a spoof, but a comedic homage to the original 1931 movie. It's brilliant.
Great reaction! This movie is silly but funny, so no reason to expect something deep and serious. Please please please react to “The hot chick” and “Overboard” (1987). I am sure you’ll like it🥹 No many reactions on these two movies :(
Ahhh~ Scary Movie
A perfect combination of Scream and I know What You Did Last Summer. Definitely should watch the latter sometime
You should definitely watch the rest of them! I love the second one!
Thanks, Oscar! 👻 #TheCocoaCouch #KeenenIvoryWayans #ScaryMovie
I use this movie to fight depression 😁
One of the best spoofs
Definitely see I Know What You Did Last Summer, some of the references will make sense :P
I think the jump scene was a reference to the horror movie omen
Scream 2
I can’t believe you reacted to this 😭
1, 3 and 4 are amazing
I wanna like the video, but I also wanna leave the likes at 666 🤔 one of my favorite movies lol keep going!! The third is the best!!😂❤
Bloody classic great film
Hope you get to do the second part, which is even better! the rest of the series sucks, except for Brenda, but the second movie is really hilarious (but instead of following just one movie blends a few together)
It was great 12:52am
Lmao. Love watching reactors doing this film like oooh what can i find funny ooooh do i need to point out this is offensive. Brilliant film.
1 down, 4 to go! Im Really looking forward to seeing your reactions lol
There are 2 more scary movie spoofs. You should watch those too.
I hate this type dumb comedy in general, but I watched the entire video because of you, lol
I remember watching this, I think I was in middle school or something. Omg, so many things went over my head at the time. Super dated jokes, but I still love the first two, sometimes 3. Mostly for Anna Faris and Regina Hall.
Your reaction to Miss Mann’s secret is hilarious! 🤣
3 and 4 are my favorites. They toned down sex jokes way more and the jokes are absurd but more practical and less gross
“Whats that smell”
“My ass”
Oddly my favorite line of the movie.
Love you ❤
Hi Oscar. Great reaction and great job. Always love all your reactions. have a great day dude😊
Cheers man 👍 you too!
please watch 2 and 3. :D
You should definitely watch “I know what you did last summer” too. Love the reactions❤
Yeah I likely will since there was a big reference to it.
Love your channel! Thank you!
If you haven't yet, you should check out I know what you did last summer
I love horror movies
Wait till you get to 2, 3 and 4. 😁
Please, you must watch I Know & I Still Know What You Did Last Summer
so when's scary movie 2 coming? :)
B.A Corpse high school 😂😂😂😂
Please do the rest of the series and also I know what you did last summer series
You've become easily my favourite reactor , new subscriber 🤗❤️
Hope you can react to some india movies and series as well
The moment Ghostface hides behind the tree has completely ruined that scenario in other movies for me, gets a laugh every time.
Still like Scary Movie 2 better, it's not as reference packed as the 1st ✌
You're joking right? _Scary Movie 2_ has 10 times more references than the first film...
My favourite series too damn funny
We want react to part 2 and more
Sacary movie 2
after watched this, you should watch Epic Movie at some point
it's another movie that makes fun of pop culture
Check out emperors new groove , Pocahontas 1&2 , antz
Dude that is not how these movies are supposed to work. There is quite a bit of spoof movies. And their goal is to make everyone laugh. Not just you and just me, but everyone. People find different things funny. So the parts you didn't think were funny weren't meant for you they were meant for someone else. But you laughed this whole entire video other than when you looked disturbed.
They throw so many different types of jokes in these kinds of movies to hit everyone's humor. It's not a movie so to speak. It's almost like watching a stand up comedian.
